Some random backwater ****hole town in America sued China a few weeks ago I’m sure. Edit- Missouri. May or may not be a ****hole. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-52364797
I guess your just a Tory basher, how is it his gross incompetence ? All along they have been listening to the scientific evidence and acting on that, here’s a good idea let’s take all the sciences that got it wrong out the back and shoot them instead, and how the **** are they masquerading as a government or is that your opinion cause you voted LIEBOUR and still can’t accept you lost !!
This is the ongoing problem after all this is finally done. Enough people will agree with Turkish despite all evidence and logic and just become more entrenched in their position. We’re ****ed.
Frankie Boyle is a complete knobjockey, an utter champagne socialist Asshole, I’d rather go watch Chelscum than give that Cnut a shilling of my cash and I f*cking hate Chelscum with a passion.
I dont think it was a money thing. In my opinion I dont believe we took the right approach in the first stages. After the initial mistakes we have always been playing catch up and making poor decisions. Our decisions have always been reactive rather than proactive and unfortunately for us, the people making those decisions were basing their choices on bad advice. It's my opinion that we are about to make another one. The decision makers are looking across the channel and seeing countries coming out of lockdown and we dont want to get left behind in the race back to normality. The difference is that these countries have the spread under a much tighter control than the UK. The current decision could very well be finance based. With the furlough scheme costing fortunes and the country facing a huge unemployment problem maybe they dont see any alternative. Big companies are scaling back and making redundancies. Before long our economy will be in tatters. The British public also can be held slightly to blame. Having always been a democracy there is a sense of freedom and ambivalence towards authority that doesnt exist so widely in many European countries. Respect for the law and acceptance of being told what to do, even if for the better good, is not a British trait. We also live in a society where I feel people only see it from their own perspective, regardless of what the issue may be. Britain is no longer a "community based" country, its every man for himself. I feel quite strongly that Brexit has only reinforced this attitude. There is a price to pay in all this and maybe the UK simply has to bite the bullet and accept what is coming.
I’m a big fan of his though think he’s not as funny as he used to be and some of his more recent stuff isn’t great. That panel show thing he hosts with the American bird isn’t great. His books are exceptional. Probably better than his best stand-up.
Absolutely. We were well prepared as HanCOCK stated in January. We have followed the science at all times. We moved success from under 20,000 deaths to under 500,000 deaths so we have been well successful. Excellent work
I hear he almost died in order to shake hands with people in one a town from the 1950's, have you ever been to Kettering? I'd advise against it, although James Acaster is from Kettering and very funny.
Three I think. “My **** Life So Far” is an autobiography of sorts. Would recommend and it’s a quick read even if you don’t enjoy it.
Tosh. So coming from a socialist background and adhering to those values you have to ditch them the moment you make some money? Utter crap. Boyle doesn't celebrate his relative wealth in the public eye. If you bothered to actual listen to him he's actually a very compassionate guy, not his fault knuckle draggers don't understand satire.
Well yes, not being able to visit a second home is hardly a hardship when many don't even have a garden, but I think his point is more about the arbitrariness of the rules. If someone is fortunate enough to have a second home, why shouldn't they be able to get in their car and drive to it? More importantly, why should those without a garden not be allowed to sunbathe in the park?
And who are you calling a knuckle dragger ya West Country carrot crunching Wurzel And I understand satire I just don’t like Boyle.
From afar it doesn't look like the UK government took CV seriously for a long time. Boris Liar proudly boasting he had shaken hands with people with the virus, was like saying we Brits are so tough and capable we don't need to worry too much about this. I expect now he's had a narrow escape himself and with more than 30K dead, he has a different outlook, but it is far too late of course.
