Out of interest how long has this process with FPP been going on for....for no other reason than curiosity, seems like forever.
was it not around August last year? I know that when I was on holiday in September it had been going on a while, and I spent every bastard morning checking RTG and following twatting flights

Yeah the way that he speaks about it makes me wonder if he knows a certain person within the club. There's a very prominent former player who is always around the club, but is very much not privy to the business side of what Donald and co have done. We've discussed the current ownership/FPP/Campbell a number of times and while he acknowledges that he doesn't have first hand knowledge, he is always very quick to pass on rumours as if they're fact. He loves the club, but he just hates to shrug his shoulders and say 'I haven't got a clue and I'm just as in the dark as you are'.
My guess is that if its not him, Madbob knows another club gossip super-spreader and passes on every rumour he/she hears. He can't bring himself to question whether or not they actually know anything because they're passing on things that make him feel special as a recipient of the info. Then when he passes on conflicting positions, or vague hints, he looks silly when most of them don't come off.
Not a bad bloke, just refuses to question his source(s).
As I've said previously I definitely think he does get info, but the way he delivers his info at times can be very vague or he talks in riddles .
It doesn't take much to set him of on one of his explosive rants, but I agree I think any bit of info he gets he takes it as gospel
could be somebody taking the piss out of him, we used to do it with a lad in the pub who was a manic gossip, just make up some complete bullshit story, tell him it then ask him to say nowt. we'd then run a sweep on how long it would take for the story to get out. he was unstoppable.
As most people with a brain can see, I'm not interested in praise ...
... it's taken a lot of time and effort to keep answering all these questions over the past year. Even on RTG I was patient and polite with people who were blatantly trying to trip me up ...

The people who attack me always let a bit of jealousy slip eventually. They make cracks about my jet set lifestyle etc, but I've always maintained that I'm just a working class bloke who's fallen arse backwards into interesting situations.
It could be a gamble taking over a club during covid-19 but it could massively pay off
