My 'obsession' with care homes starts with having my other half's mother in one and just yesterday we had a call from the home to say they had to call a GP out in the early hours as she was running a temperature and had been vomiting. Whilst the GP thought it more likely that it was a sickness bug he had no tests available for Covid-19 and so we wait hoping that her condition will improve.
Also yesterday a lady I hired at the start of April lost her elderly aunt to the virus. She was transferred from a care home to hospital in the afternoon. Her death won't make it to today's stats unlike in France where every update seems to put openness with its' people before government's perception.
If just wanting to know the truth in these surreal times and not wanting to be treated like a gullible mug equates to 'obsession' then I will happily continue with it

You seem very confused about the treatment methods in Germany that have been so incredibly successful but do not necessitate a tongueing of the bum crack ... we're you perhaps educated at Eton?
The NHS has been doing an amazing job ... despite the now obvious shambolic and disorganised approach of our own government.

The government is responsible for supplying PPE and for testing ... the lack of both means that the virus has the potential to kill in care homes like a fox running amok in a chicken coup ... by the time you realise it has got in, the damage will have been done ... the elderly are sitting ducks.
