Can’t blame people for hoovering up cheap shares tbh. My issue would be if there’s any sort of insider trading going on which given the spindly old nonce’s position it seems virtually impossible he wouldn’t be privy to information before the rest of us that affects the stocks he’s trading in.

Spindly old Nonce <laugh>

I'm not far wrong though am I?

I have no idea as your modus operandi seems to be to just throw out vague, hate-filled stuff in accordance with your own personal bias without really articulating any concrete facts. :)

Incidentally, I don't care for JR-M either, but doubt he's particularly crooked. I suspect much of the hate towards him is borne of his plumby accent and privileged upbringing more that anything particularly tangible, i.e. he's rich and privileged ergo he must be bent.

Yeah I do that sometimes, time of the month.

He isn't very nice, how's that. <smooch>

The problem is although Starmer is no Jezza <laugh> he is still part of the Previous muppet show. No one will vote for labour because unlike the Tories that had a cull of the deadwood and brought in fresh-faced droids, Labour still has Abbott/Jezza/Thornberry and the rest of the north London 2222show. Never learn.
Give the guy a chance. Bit early to be expecting a ruthless cull after …….what was it,7 minutes in post? He was the only credible candidate in the running but has his work cut out making up lost ground for largely being the author of a hopeless position on Brexit.

As I see it there are three camps in Labour. Blairites, Starmerites and Corbynites. The Corbynites have had a communist like power over the party and I just can't see them giving it up easily. Starmer has to have his own team on the front bench or they'll pull the rug from under him. That means denying Corbynites and then there'll be trouble. Labour will only stand a chance of getting into power if they are a united party. I don't think Starmer is strong enough to do that
Starmerites. What do they actually stand for? Wouldn't worry about power and control. He just needs to find his own Cummings. There always enough ambitious politicians around to rally around a new slogan and party line even if it is preaching as gospel something that is the polar opposite of the predecessor's line.

Of course not. Not every one who is rich and privileged is bent. Look at Prince Andrew.

What we know is that he's slightly right of Corbyn and decidedly left of Blair. His shadow cabinet appointments so far have been unexceptional. Anneliese Dodds (shadow chancellor) seems a decent person, not a strong character. I'd never have singled her out for her financial acumen. But for me, she's much more acceptable than that lying toad, John Macdonnell. So I think we'll see an improvement in Labour's fortunes under Sir Keir, but they're not going to set the world on fire. And because of coronavirus, and the current need for "big state", the Tories are stealing Labour's clothes by the day.
