Whatever your biases there is no doubt that the original approach of herd immunity was different from other countries and there has to be an almighty handbrake turn, which cost valuable time. The dissembling over the European procurement system wasn’t their finest hour either. I know that some will say the time for recriminations is after this has settled down, but there are legitimate questions regarding the testing of NHS staff for example that need answering now. 4/10 from me to date.

Just be careful because people are going crazy from being in lock down

Actually I've just been talking about this with the microwave and toaster, while drinking my coffee. All of us agreed that things are getting bad. I didn't mention anything to the washing machine as she puts a different spin on everything. Oh and certainly not to the fridge as he is acting cold and distant. In the end the iron calmed me down as she said everything will be fine, no situation is too pressing. The hoover was very unsympathetic... told me to just suck it up, but the fan was more optimistic and hoped it would all soon blow over. The toilet looked a bit flushed when I asked its opinion and didn’t say anything but the door knob told me to get a grip. The front door said I was unhinged and so the curtains told me to ........yes, you guessed it .....pull myself together !

Please can we keep this just for Coronavirus stuff and put the football and other stuff in the Ralph's Rabbit Hutch?

I mean, you probably can, we just haven't figured it out yet. We'll get there, probably through some mad science with CRISPR, but we just sadly didn't get there fast enough
Vaccines take time to develop, test, and produce. At least 18 months I’d say even with the technology we have. They will never be the answer to these pandemics. Finding a test for the virus and getting everyone out tested and isolated is answer. It should be able to be done much quicker than it has. By far the biggest failure of this pandemic. We learned nothing from SARS and MERS. I really hope we learn this time because the next one is out there being made in creatures right now.
