Mmm Sharma needs to stick to business stuff. Why they used that women today is beyond me? <yikes>
She sounded like a well drilled droid of the government throwing in "We must protect the NHS" after every sentence. Okay luv we get it! They should bring back Jenny... although she scares the s22t out of us with her "6 months" gaff. She shoots from the hip without all the political crap.
------------------------------------------------------
This thing with testing...
It's not as simple as a pregnancy test. These tests are very complicated and must work for Covid-19 and not something else. We must make sure these test are accurate.
I don't blame the government because this is something they don't understand especially as things are changing daily. They are doing well and are being advised.

That's not from me but the DR expert on the news today.

It probably doesn’t help that they booted out a load of experienced and principled politicians and replaced them with a combination of careerists and gullible morons recently.

Have not posted on here for ages. Am working in Kazakhstan. Always good to read all your thoughts on all manner of things, really good posts from all. I reckon I get a better handle on how things are at home from reading this forum than watching the news concerning COVID-19.

Things turning grim here now. Lockdown well and truly on. Have to carry papers with your address and place of work. Have to wear mask and gloves when outside. Police driving around with loud speakers blaring. No one breaks curfew here, they come down hard quickly. Driver has to take me to Supermarket and you get a temperature test before you are allowed to enter the shopping centre and then another one before you enter the supermarket itself. Stores shutting early now and saw trolleys piled high tonight. People panicking. Took me an hour to pick up a couple of bottles of milk.

Kazakhstan does not have a reliable supply chain like UK; everything imported from afar (except meat) hence the panic.

No flights in or out now.

Reckon we are about to go through the same here as in UK.

Be safe all.

Why have got that niggly feeling that when the self employed construction worker applies for their share as promised by Rishi, they will be told that sites weren't ordered to shut and work could have continued.

I don’t want to ‘like’ this but the thought had crossed my mind on behalf of my son. And you have the feeling because you know who you are dealing with.

What a waste of time those briefings are. Does a politician ever answer a question? Never a follow up grilling from the questioner, probably because they’re shut down. Pathetically transparent.

Haven’t read the earlier link article about deaths being recorded as covid 19, but am willing to bet the numbers are very misleading.
