In fairness the airport here in the 'pool is named after a drug taking chap who had a bit of a reputation with the ladies on occasion <whistle> do I give a ****? No because he was cool as **** and even as a die-hard Red I find it hard to argue that Best wasn't a pretty cool character as well <ok> better than something dull and boring like Heathrow or Gatwick

John Lennon was the brains behind the beatles and was as much as a poet as Jim Morrison. Best was very good with the ball at his feet, but as much use as an ash-tray on a motorbike without it. As a team-player he contributed nothing. He was as much a me me me as Fernando Torres.

I wasn't talking about a great player, I was talking about George Best. Best was a 4 season wonder. The reason why his career went tits up was because he was gutless.
