I often check his twitter feed - this kind of quip is typical of him, he always finds a great line in self depreciation.
Back in 2012 I bought a £50 gift voucher from Republic for my daughter. In 2013 they went bust with the voucher unused and non-refundable. No surprise there.
Today I got my payout from the administrators, a first class letter containing a beautifully printed cheque, for 15p!
Why do they bother? I don't know how many other worthless cheques were sent out but I'd bet the recipients would have preferred the money to go somewhere useful.

Me too, he's not a 'star' at all - I think you could have a few brews with him.

His squeaky voice is annoying, other than that he seems like a decent bloke.
Not a fan of his music, but served in Forces in Kosovo, seems to be happy taking the piss out of himself and seems to have become famous without becoming a ****er
