Personally I've always got on with the scots more than the Welsh, even when I was doing basic training, I always got on with the Northern English than the Southerners.

I've only picked up on this recently but you never capitalise English or England but do so for Scotland and even Wales

Absolutely true. If I was free to choose, Cumbernauld in Scotland would be my choice. Nothing to do with nationalisn, it's just that loads of my old schoolmates still live there & I have a ball every time I go back up.
