How come only males and females are getting the virus and never a mention of the 98 other genders getting it?

I just saw his speech Dave.
Tbh he has made himself look a bit stupid by closing all schools then holding Sundays vote, only to postpone the next round? <doh>
I also think he shot himself in the foot by saying no business will go bust. I like the idea of freezing rent/electricity/gas/water but will it happen?
I thought it was funny him telling the French people off for ignoring the advice. Like here in the UK things are changing daily.
Sadly the interview was followed by Trump who really is stupid.

Coronavirus: US man who stockpiled hand sanitiser probed for price gouging

A man who stockpiled 17,700 bottles of hand sanitiser to sell on Amazon is being investigated for price gouging.

Matt Colvin, from Chattanooga in Tennessee, told the New York Times he had faced a "huge amount of whiplash".

Online platforms have cracked down on sellers listing coronavirus-related items at inflated prices.

Mr Colvin later said he would donate his goods but on the same day Tennessee's attorney general opened an investigation, the Times reported.

Mr Colvin said that from 1 March, the day after the first coronavirus-related death in the US was confirmed, he and his brother had spent three days driving across Tennessee, buying up all the hand sanitiser they could find.

He then listed the bottles on Amazon, selling some for as much as $70 (£57).

Amazon then deleted listings of hand sanitiser, sanitising wipes and face masks with marked-up prices, while eBay outright prohibited the sale of any of these items.

After the initial article was published, Mr Colvin faced a major backlash, with many accusing him of attempting to profit off a global crisis.

He expressed remorse in a follow-up interview, saying he "had no idea that these stores wouldn’t be able to get replenished".

Price gouging - the act of re-selling an item in high demand with a "grossly excessive" price mark-up - is prohibited in the state of Tennessee if the governor has declared a state of emergency.

If found guilty, a person can be fined up to $1,000 (£813).

In a statement, Tennessee Attorney General Herbert Slatery III said: "We will not tolerate price gouging in this time of exceptional need, and we will take aggressive action to stop it."

Completely agree about the vote still going ahead on Sunday. Can't understand how that was allowed to happen. As a freelancer I have already lost and will continue to lose most my earning, so reassuring to hear that he's going to provide something for freelancers, but no concrete promises. The telling people off for being in the park bit was really just a possible pop at the French mentality of being defiant, of course until they are invaded. ;)

I don't think Cameron, Rangel or Pugh are loanees are they? And given their age I'm not sure they would complain at a 3 month contract extension.

Doesn't alleviate the bigger issue (Eze going cheap) but a small positive!

    Hope you're keeping well pal?

Keep up the good work. The NHS up here is already starting to feel the pinch, and although my missus no longer works in an acute setting, they are gearing up for a massive spike in cases. If one of the inmates where she works gets it, it could get a bit nasty trying to isolate them within their cells.

For.people like myself, self-employed contractors, we're going to severly feel the economic fallout from this. I'm.not that woried about being infected, but this could put my whole family at risk if I am.unable to.go out to work. I'm.fairly self contained, just myself and my work partner, but I think at sone stage our logistics partners who deliver our equipment (bearing in mind it comes from China) and our back office may be an issue. And that's without adding IR35 into the mix....

Well that was a waste of time.........no bread/bog rolls/pasta/tooth paste/jam/wipes/washing up liquid..the list goes on (at least I got a packet of bagels and chocolate raisins)
Also told that my local 24 hr Tesco’s will be closing at 10pm until further notice due to the staff being abused by vile c**** as they attempted to restock the shelves last night. Not great for night shift workers but totally understandable.
I’m beginning to hate this **** world we live in.

They seem to be gearing up for something big mate, hospitals are having ‘dirty zones’ which are only dealing with respiratory conditions only and already they are full to the brim.

To be honest mate, the chances of me getting it are extremely high as however much you try to complete IPC procedures correctly, it only takes 1 mistake for us to get infected. Am I worried ? Not really ‘cos it’ll be like a bad case of flu for me, cough and aching body.......I really ain’t gonna die. If I was 70 and had COPD it would be another matter entirely.

Nice of Boris doing his bit to save the insurance industry. Shame about the pubs and restaurants who should’ve donated to the party when they had the chance.

    2 months without wages.
VA has about 9,000 staff from what I can see.
Richard Branson could personally pay all of these staff £500 a week and his net worth would fall from 4.1bn to 4.064bn.
His net worth would fall by 0.88%.
If you had £20 that would be a loss of 17.6p.
