My daughter-in-law is due to drop in the next 6 weeks so they were looking for calpol, couldn't get it anywhere supermarkets chemists etc. The shop across the road from me has a shelf full. Stuff isn't running out, it is just taking time to restock the big shops, local shops just go to the wholesalers every day and stock up on what they need.

Turkish supermarkets round my way. They'll sort you out with bog roll, baked beans, aspirin, and heroin should you need it.
