Well....it's all kicking off isn't it!

Hopefully, Euro 20 will be postponed by a year, allowing time through June / July for seasons to be completed.

Absolutely the right decision in my view to suspend, I can't see how the season could be voided, there'd be so many legal cases put forward it'd never get resolved.

On a selfish note, could offer us some respite, get a few more players back fit, time away from getting stuffed week in week out......who knows.

Stay safe everyone, and if you are one of the pillocks stock pilling, stop stock pilling, you daft prick.

I think that's now pretty much a cast iron certainty.

Though what happens to this season is less certain, half our first team are out in contract in June.

I'd be shocked if it isn't pulled, and you'd hope that clubs would be able to arrange to complete matches by the end of June IF they can be started up again by no later than the end of April.....any later than that, and end of June would be somewhat problematic

What happens with out of contract players if the season ends up running beyond their current contracts?

We may lose up to 10 players, if it's the ones that are injured then it'll make no difference!

On a serious note, Maddison will be off the books unless he puts in a performance or two in the meantime

Guy on Talksport this morning (didn’t catch who he was) was saying EUFA had postponed the Euros for a year but wants (EUFA) all teams to finish their seasons. Suggestion seems to be a request that all teams self isolate all their players for 14 days then 14 days later continue the season behind closed doors. If any player shows symptoms after that then the club didn’t enforce the self isolation so that player should be treated like an injured player

He was obviously talking out of his arse ... euros are likely to be cancelled but nothing confirmed .. and I doubt the season will restart before the end of April at the earliest if at all.

They've suspended the season to avoid large groups gathering, it's not about the players, if the number of cases rockets in the coming weeks, it won't resume, if they don't, it will. It's likely the Euro's will be moved back a year, but it hasn't been decided yet (same with the Olympics, which Japan say will definitely go ahead).
