Oakley-Boothe made his debut for Stoke the other day, coming on at half time for Joe Allen and ended up assisting (with a nice bit of skill may I add) Stoke’s 5th goal in a 5-1 win.

I was disappointed at the time when we announced his departure and I really do think we’re gonna regret letting him go. Big, big talent.

What I can't understand is that at various points in the last year or so he was linked with loans, with a season-long loan to Swansea strongly linked last summer, yet they never came to fruition

The real problem with TO-B's development was one that we created, because he basically missed a large chunk of the 2017-18 season with injuries but we decided to keep his development in house, basically becoming overprotective when what we were really doing was getting his development back to the level it was before and what he really needed was to push on that little bit more, and once it was clear he could regularly play 90 minutes for the U23s by November last season we should have been looking to do that

I've included the previous clip too, as it features Oakley-Boothe.

Jonathan Obika scored the only goal of the game, as St Mirren beat Hearts 1-0 and left them adrift at the bottom of the league.

Handball by Obika? Definitely hits his arm. Would get chalked off in the Premier League, I think.
