heard bog rolls being stockpiled but no idea why.
On this occasion though, it looks like everyone is only buying 1 big pack each and that it's just a normal bog roll shop rather than a huge stockpiking of it?

Apparently the reason people are buying toilet rolls is because they are cheaper than tissues and often softer .

The mistake she’s made there is to try and add some logic to this nonsense.
There isn’t any.
That logic don't stack up at all. Facial tissues are far stronger than bog roll, especially for colds, even if you use qaulity toilet roll and I very much doubt the people buying it up in a mass panic are desperate for a penny or two saving. I think in Morrisons you can buy a box of over 200 large size tissues for around 80p.
The pearl of wisdom I learnt from our 8-year old grandaughter was to cut up surgical masks after using them as unscrupulous people are digging them out of the trash, washing them and selling them as new. Her teacher told her.
It’s interesting to see they are going for quite a large scale lockdown now. Clearly feeling they haven’t managed to get hold of the situation.
They’ve got no control over the situation, if truth be told, it’s a little to late. I hope we are watching and learning.
