Interesting. Do share more please. It was certainly a different crowd but the singing was MUCH better despite a 2/3 full stadium.

The once esteemed FA cup was the envy of the footballing world, nowadays it's a run out for a second string team selection 
If Jack Clarke is something to do with an agreement with Spurs, i.e. we have agreed a deal that means they get first dibs on Eze in the summer, then I would say, no! Take Eze now, give us the £25 million and babysit Clarke yourselves.
We have enough creativity going forward without him.
What annoys me the most about last night is that Clarke played while Shodipo sat on the bench. Really? Our own young and promising player watches while Clarke arrives a few days ago and goes straight in front of him in the pecking order.
If I were Shodipo I would be in MW's office right now demanding to be loaned out or sold to a club who wants to play me.

I expect Shodipo will be loaned out unless someone leaves which is a shame as he’s got something. If Clarke was going to add something instantly short-term like Mark Kennedy did or Lee Cook in his first spell then fair enough- we are still vaguely in the playoff hunt after all- but if it’s just minutes wasted that could have gone to Shodipo/Dalling then it’s very ****ing stupid given those guys will probably be playing 20+ games next season.
Completely agree that there are a lot of people at games who clearly know nothing about the game.
However, on here, nearly everyone has agreed that Warburton, like so many before him, has thrown a game in the cup. He'll say it was a strong team, but it was a half and half team with little chance of it gelling, Ok it worked against Swansea, but that was a fluke result imo. Nearly always the result is the same.
Wednesday made changes too, but they were on the back of a 5-0 hammering and Monk had reportedly fired ****s up their arses with instructions that they had to deliver last night. They were a big, niggly, hard working bunch who were hard to play against.
We should have played last night's team against Blackburn and played our strongest line up last night.
Warburton has done very well keeping us away from the relegation fight and I like his brand of football. However, he is a huge tinker-man. Not with the style of play, but with changing personnel and not playing our best players in their best positions and building a side around them.
He's taken far too long to see what the rest of us have in that Lumley is ****. Last night Eze was played as a central midfielder. He's not a centre mid in a million years and before that he's been stuck out on the left! Now he's getting criticism that his form has dropped, what a shocker!!
We're completely safe in mid-table with no danger of relegation. We also look like a side that could go on a cup run, capable of giving anyone a run for their money on our day.
I really am struggling to forgive Warbs for doing this, as I really fancied us to go on a run in this competition.

I had quite a nice time in KU all things considered. Actually thought the issue was more that our normally mediocre at best players (Kane, Manning, Lumley, Pugh) had particularly terrible games.
That is surely the end of Lumley though after the first goal and that ridiculous faff towards the end. Would give Kakay a chance over Kane too and Wallace should be first choice now. Maybe play Manning next to Ball.

I like Warburton's style of play and he's done really well for us. However, a lot of the credit should go to our development squad coaches who have produced a lot of young talent.
Warburton is steadily going down in my estimations. He was on the verge of sending Masterson out on loan for ****'s sake and he looks the real deal after training with the likes of Van Dyke at Liverpool! He is struggling to see that Manning is a poor left back and that Kane is just awful. He doesn't play Eze at 10 either. I am seriously questioning his judgement on players. That's without even mentioning why he left Lumley in the side for so long.
But none of Manning, Kane, Pugh and Lumley should have started. Particularly against a niggly, tough side like Wednesday I'd have played Ball at right back and Wallace at left back. I can just about forgive Kane starting because of his pace, but he really is awful and I'd prefer Rangel to him when fit.

Probably not but the reality of our squad is they all bar Lumley need to play sometimes.
We’ve not even mentioned Eze’s consistently awful set pieces. We scored from one of Chair’s when he was rested. Manning takes a decent enough corner/free kick.
BFG....good. Is that the same BFG I saw jogging back rather than sprinting to intercept their second goal?
A lot of criticism here for Kane, he wasn’t good which was disappointing coming off his Leeds performance.
Lumley is a liability
Don’t remember him doing a lot wrong and he made one excellent interception in the first half to stop what looked a nailed on goal at the front post.
Agree, Eze shouldn't be on set pieces, apart from the odd free kick on goal. Manning has a decent left foot and could take them.
Yes they all need to play sometime, but my point is that I'd have rested players against Blackburn to give us a chance of a cup run. I realise that is a little old fashioned these days and that Warbs is yet another coach who insults fans by throwing games in the cups.
Yep. I quite like Wells, but I get the impression that he maybe thinks he's a little bit better than he is. His attempt at a Ronaldo style effort was a total embarrassment imo.
Mind you, I don't mind confident players as they tend to be far more consistent over time.
