Some conclusions from that drab performance. Lumley is absolutely ****e. Nothing to do with confidence blah blah blah, hes just crap. Smithies use to win us games or save us in games, Lumley does the exact opposite..Pugh has done **** all barring a 1 yard tap in all season. Bournemouth fans said he would rip the championship up. We should rip the team sheet up when we see his name on it. Clarke wasnt and isnt needed. Every leeds fan I know couldnt believe that they got 10m from spurs for him after 4 good games in his entire career! Samuel must be worth 50m in comparison. Our most impressive player, barring Samuel has been Masterson in my opinion. You can tell hes been coached at a good level. Someone best tell him about Lumley though.

I don’t mind Pugh when the others make space for him. Without Eze near him and Clarke offering nothing on the other side he looked worse but still better on the night than Clarke for me.
A pity we only played for the last 15 mins. BOS made a real impact.

Like I said before, I've worked with this kid and I would much prefer us to use some of our own youth who surely must be of similar ability
You think the team and manager would want to get into the next round. What is it with QPR and not taking cups seriously. Poor team choice and poor overall performance. It is hard to believe some of our youngsters are considered big future talents. I think it might have gone to some of their heads because the passing is just awful most of the time and they run around like headless chickens. Need to get them back to the basics and performing for us week after week before they become that.
My dog could have done a similar job tonight. Got to give him a chance though but nowhere near first choice based on that.
Hes a knock and run player! In full flow hes a joy to watch. Not got the strength or tricks of samuel. He needs to be up 1 on 1 with 20 yards of space to go at. When he doesnt see this he just plays it back.

No. The defence will rightly be blamed too but it was another for Joe’s collection without a doubt.
We were really tepid until BOS came on. Shame it was so late, but I see why MW doesnt want to use him too much. Wells did his job, but his goal and going out the Cup won't make keeping him any easier. Masterson looked good again, as did BFG. Lumley had looked confident enough until he failed to stop the 1st goal. Manning cant play LB, and seems to have lost what he was good at, sending in decent crosses. Eze hasn't been at his best for a few games now imo, maybe he needs a rest too.
