I learn most of my stuff by ear. It's the best way.

Sure, I will watch videos of the original artists playing their parts, mainly to see what area of the neck they're at.

I've seen lots of those kinds of videos. Mainly, I don't like watching someone else's interpretation of material. I'd much use my own. I find that a more reliable way of work in no.

In any event, I have the solo 75% worked out. It's all about the phrasing now. For that, I listen to Don Felder and Joe Walsh.
