Two of the best covers of all time, arguably better than the originals (which isnt often in music) imo are: and
oh and Many people dont even know its a cover. The woman who wrote it did a version prior to letting Whitney have the song
Nah the gayest bit of music trivia is Jagger and Bowie having Bum sex whilst making this video: Yes, they actually had a gay affair, "just to see what it was like" apparently......
It really isn't. Not a big Elvis fan. Yes he did this and that, and helped rock music become popular, but I find listening to his music dull as ****.
I'm not an Elvis fan but that track and Can't Help Falling in Love are two of his songs that I like. The UB40 version of the latter was ****e but then so was everything else they did.
Can't argue with that, not a UB40 fan either. Wasn't all of UB40's songs covers? Or a vast majority of them?
am pretty sure all the songs they are famous for are covers. Kingston Town was done in the 70's by some guy called Lord Creator Red Red wine was a neil diamond song from the 60's. Falling in love with you was Elvis, as we know. I Got you Babe was done by Sonny & Cher
Both good choices. I like covers of Presley songs. FYC's cover of Suspicious Minds was also very good. Not a huge Presley fan but the two above and A Little Less Conversation & Burning Love are pretty good.
