Or...the thing is everyone and the media has been comparing this seasons points tally with last and simply ignoring the fact we finished last season the 7th best from jan to may, so I think they've been too fast to say he's done a great job.. imo without almiron and max we will lose every single game.. it's a side that can only play on the counter, so once you take those two out the side we have to go long ball and we aren't even good at that.

I know you know pretty much everything is better with Brucie. The narrative keeps changing, but it is impossible to deny that things are much rosier, and we are mostly enjoying matchdays again. I'm disappointed that the injury glut has prevented more attacking enterprise, but if and when Ritchie gets fit, or we get a new right winger in January, then we will be even more, more entertained
18. Newcastle United: 22, -15, 18 this was mid January this year. It is a joy to be nowhere near that and not hearing/reading players, owners, referees, uncle Tom Cobbley, et al, getting the blame.
