Yes what we need is a sergeant major type like keane who would never allow players to disrespect a manager because he never did it himself when ...ooh dear

I think the Americans want Stewart out extremely quickly. I think Roy Keane with SKP will be brought in. That however is just my opinion on what I think will happen. What is or would be your suggestion FB?

Keane only had success at safc while he had money to spend.
When the money tap was turned off he was like a rabbit in the headlights. We were getting trounced regularly by the time he decided to run away.
His no nonsense methods worked a treat at Ipswich, left them in a financial mess and a playing list of rubbish.
His stints as bib boy to other managers hardly did him any good.
Most overrated manager in football.
Didn't he also take us from a basket case of a club after the worst points total in PL history and languishing in the bottom 3 in the Championship to flat out champions in the same season? Then he managed to keep us in the PL. He may have spent a decent amount of money but he still needed to get the best out of his players and turn around the mentality of a failing club.

In your opinion, should Ross have been sacked? Because he was exactly the same as Keane was essentially. Biggest EVER L1 budget and failed, miserably...

Y

Yes and look how well he does he has done in football management since
Di Canio you mean? I met him a while back. Very nice man. He spoke very knowledgeable about football and football management. I think he hasn't had another job because his name was tarnished by all the fuss about his politics and because of what happened at our club.

Keane left us as a stable Premier League club with some very talented players.

He joined us as a team who had almost set a record for most games without a win in English football history.

He did spend, but not nearly as outrageously as folk say. And you know what, a lot of it he spent well.

Players like Richardson, Kenwyne etc more than justified their fees. Others did no real damage and some that didn’t work out were no fault of his.

Players like Kavanagh and Tainio would have been top additions without injury issues.

He was turning the tide Keane, he never lost the dressing room, we never had a particularly horrific run, and we never looked in danger.

I don’t care what he did after, he did a great job for us. We spent 10 year in the Premier on his foundations.

Just had a message from a lad with friends at the club who are reporting an incident in training.

I'm waiting for clearer details but the gist is that the first team squad were totally disrespecting Parkinson and he blew up.

That may seem like good news to those who believe it'll hasten the departure of the manager ...
... but I'm not dancing on my table.

This reminds me of when the players turned on Di Canio, the club backed them and the supporters applauded them.

Unless we get a cast iron structure into this club we'll just continue to drift.

I think I might emigrate ....
This is **** like. Just when I was hoping that the squad was going to pull together, after McGeady was booted out.

Understand what you're saying but players aren't gonna come out and say the dressing room is in a **** state and we all hate the manager etc. Coming out and saying that isn't going to do their SAFC careers any good, or I imagine any potential future employment if a manager or owner knows they've previously spoken out against management and the club in general.
Not saying it’s not true, but very sceptical when someone says they have had a txt, a lot of these txts seem to fly around when things aren’t going very well

so wheres our captain at, he should be telling them to play for the fans. the one constant at the club, who will be there long after this shambles is all sorted out.
They do play for the fans. The 1 thing with the current bunch of players is question there effort, lack of quality yes

Just had the full story and it's not quite as bad as it sounded.

The Academy lads put on a skit of everyone including the current and most recent manager ...

... the first teamers were all laughing and Parkinson lost it.

That's what I've been told.

That’s even worse if the useless twat can’t take a joke.

It is a bit random the academy lads presumably taking the piss out of Parkinson when they're absolutely awful as are the senior side. I'm not sure I'd see the funny side if I was Parkinson and having to deal with actual mutinies like McGeady's.

No, that the squad are having a laugh together. Sounded like the academy lads did skits about everyone. Maybe Parkinson walked in at the wrong time and thought it was all directed at him?
