If there's a no deal Brexit it will probably only take 6-9 months before the smelly stuff hits the fan and a lot of people realise just how much they have been conned. I'm in no way advocating it but there would likely be some serious civil unrest when the truth finally does come out. What's that song? ..... I Predict A Riot
To take up our conversation; Of course you have the right and so does everyone else here. I don't think I've suggested otherwise and to be honest I haven't been offended by anything that's been said today. I didn't want the thread closed.
I've just voted Lib-Dem in my constituency of Romsey and Southampton North [whatever they tell you, it was created to take away a large selection of predominantly Labour and Lib-dem voters from Southampton Test and lose them in a Conservative stronghold]. There's a genuine feeling the sitting Tory MP Caroline Nokes could be unseated by the Liberals. Labour are nowhere, so I have voted tactically. Plus it is a unquestionable vote for Remain. And the Environment gets a tick too.
To be perfectly honest IOAG you are right in there are not many politicians worth voting for, and most people probably feel they will be voting for the least worse option when they do vote. Political integrity seems to be a diminishing art these days. If you are a decent guy as fatletiss said then I apologise to you for thinking otherwise. In defence of those who fear for the future under a Tory government, people are very fearful and post stuff accordingly. The minority of it is about individuals, and the majority of it has been posted to highlight the lies and twisted facts that are being spewed out of the Conservative Party. Again, please accept my apology if I got you wrong.
I’ve just heard that Cedric was escorted out of the polling station in Ocean Village this evening. Apparently he couldn’t put a cross in the box.
I voted and there was a constant stream of people so I am hoping it is a high turn out. There was a security guard on the door and the very lovely Mrs Godders asked me why he was there and I said to stop Tories voting. He laughed and she said I was being very silly. I wasn't. I would have stood there with a ****ing machine gun and chased them away.
Sometimes you're bad Godders, and sometimes you're good. And when you're good, you're very, very good indeed. And incidentally, my polling station was packed to the rafters too. It was probably the time of my voting, but it was encouraging to see so many people.
Boris could lose his seat according to early exit polls. Anyone know what happens if a sitting PM loses his seat? I have no idea, but my god do I want that to happen with all my heart.
No, I think it's accepted as being true. But in her defense it's a mistake that anyone could make. I mean, who among us can honestly say they have never gone out with two different shoes and one of them on the wrong foot?
I knew a guy who went on and on about his orthopaedic shoe. Personally, I thought he built it up too much.
