Ken Clarke sticks it to Johnson.

Could this explain his constant denial of the Irish Border system - that he simply doesn't understand it?

Anyone heard about the postal votes situation.

Laura K has apparently reported 'they look grim for Labour'. Not good but not a massive surprise given the polls and who tends to use postal votes.

However, some are claiming this revelation is a breach of the law. Although, I can't see much coming of it.

But, the news seems to confirm this absolutely Johnson's to lose now.

Its probably all rigged anyway.

interesting there was a documentary called the dirty war in the nhs due to air on ITV on November 29th, but has been banned. Apparently airs all the conservatives dirty private laundering.

Smoke without fire?

Not sure to be fair. It could have been postponed for purdah reasons - but really not sure.

On the postal votes situ:

"A spokesperson for the Electoral Commission said broadcasting rules are not within their remit, but added: "Anyone attending a postal vote opening session has a duty to maintain secrecy.

"Ballot papers will be kept face down throughout a postal vote opening session. Anyone attending an opening session must not attempt to see how individual ballot papers have been marked and must not keep a tally of how ballot papers have been marked.

"It may be an offence to communicate any information obtained at postal vote opening sessions, including about votes cast, before a poll has closed. Anyone with information to suggest this has happened should report it immediately to the police."

I understand it has been reported to the police. But Laura K seems pretty teflon.

How would purdah affect ITV?

Dont think postal votes results mean anything.

Youd think theyd always usually favour the conservatives.

I do think any reporting on the outcome of postal votes before anyone else has voted is completely wrong.

Raab mentioned something last week also. As I understand it. Postal votes should be opened, verified, kept face down & placed uncounted until tomorrow after the ballots have closed.

Raab & The Propaganda Puppet should have no idea. The BBC have been pushing the “bad weather”, “Labour’s so far behind” narrative for a couple of days. A deliberate ploy to put people off voting. They’re rattled.

Doorsteps round here have been favourable with very little of the anti-Labour rhetoric the MSM would have you believe.

Cant think of an outcome to the election that I’d actually want, what a sad sack of ****e our current politicians are.

It’ll be pretty close, hung parliament again i think.

Something interesting to me about this election is the growing calls on social media for tactical voting. Tweets and posts everywhere showing who to vote in which area to block a Tory majority.

I think the Tories will get a small majority just enough .
We'll see how they enact the WA then how serious they are in free trade negotiations .
Pretty certain I know who they will blame if negotiations don't go exactly how they want !

What's it about?

It looks at various aspects of human instinct and reaction to war in the main, but uses other examples to tease out human instinct and how we all tribal. Its embedded.

It's very good. He did a book called 'war' which I own, just not got round to reading.
