And here it is, in black and white.

Corbyn isnt an "IRA sympathiser", he is someone who is passionately against violence from all sides, who wants to start a dialogue where possible.

Personally, I would love someone in power for once that actually cares about other humans.

I also think your decision to abstain is terrible. The tories want people like you to abstain, so they can continue selling off the NHS. They are DELIBERATELY making people exasperated/apathetic, because it plays into their hands.

Not a Corbyn fan myself but his position on Northern Ireland has been consistent and entirely sensible over almost half a century. Most of those condemning him would far prefer to return to Thatcher's war of attrition with the IRA that even military leaders said was unwinnable.

If 88% of their campaign adverts contain lies, does that mean 88% of their manifesto is a lie as well?

Personally I don't think Johnson could get away with selling off the NHS............There would be a huge riot if he did that.............Nor can I see any advantage in selling off the NHS. All I hope for is that whoever wins and is in power they actually carry out their pledges to vastly increase their spending on this department.

The fact is that bits and pieces of the NHS have been being sold off, in small chunks, for years. I had an Outpatient appointment this morning with an NHS nurse, to discuss my NHS treatment, in the local Community Hospital which is entirely managed and operated by Virgin Care, not the NHS. If Johnson is re-elected that process will accelerate, if Labour are returned it will be reversed. It really is as simple as that.

The longer voters such as yourself bury your head in the sand, the mor they win.

    It IS happening.

The advantage to selling it off is MONEY. Look into the American health system beddy. Its terrifying, but that is what they want to do here.

Beddy, who are these 'people' who are going to stop the NHS being flogged off bit by bit?

And how can these 'people' stop it?

Oh, **** me, there's an election tomorrow.

Maybe there's a clue in there somewhere.

Not both parties Beds tory statement endlessly repeated ad nauseam.
    https://fullfact.org/health/six-hospitals-not-forty/ for the full story
    Claim
The government is only reconfiguring six new hospitals rather than building 40.

    Conclusion
In its latest announcement the government has committed the money to upgrade six hospitals by 2025. Up to 38 other hospitals have received money to plan for building work between 2025 and 2030, but not to actually begin any work.

“I've been launching our programme to build 40 new hospitals in this country”
    Boris Johnson, 29 September 2019

“Over the next decade we will build, not ten, not twenty, but forty new state of the art hospitals.”
Matt Hancock MP, 30 September 2019

“Yet again a Boris Johnson health announcement has quickly unravelled as spin. This isn’t 40 new hospitals, it is just reconfiguring six.”
Jonathan Ashworth MP, 29 September 2019

Yes maybe there is..........the people mate are us...............We don't necessarily need it to be a government move. We the people can force a government out if push came to shove......It's been done before it can be done again if necessary. Thats my opinion anyway.

Didn't the Labour Party say they would build a similar number?

The Conservative government HAVE BEEN getting away with selling off the NHS, piece by piece. Only people refuse to take notice. Why do you think that doctors and nurses are rushed off their feet, bad tempered and bleary eyed? Because they are working to efficiencies they can't safely maintain. And all the time, more and more efficiences are called for? For why? You can only squeeze people so far. Private companies only do things for a profit. The NHS is a people's service. It should be adequately funded and all savings put back into better care. Not shareholders pockets.
Of course, all conservatives say the people will never let a Tory PM privatise the NHS. No? They've privatised everything else they could and most of those services have gone downhill.

Er, when has a government of this country ever been forced out by the people, other than in an election?

Exactly how do you propose to push out a government with a majority when you realise that they have lied to you? We would have a situation like The Troubles with troops on the streets shooting rubber bullets or worse. Pfeffel wouldn't relinquish power without the kind of fight that would leave this country in ruins. Do you really want that? I bet Putin does.

Beddy, an election is the only time you and I get to have a vote. Other than now, and doing something to stop this bloody madness by voting, you and I don't get a say in anything.

We do however get a ringside seat to watch the NHS sink without trace if the Tories get elected for 5 more years though.

That should be a bucket of fun.
