Kaito, Thanks for replying to my post in a calm and measured way. I obviously don't agree with a lot of what you have said but it deserves a response and I will write one soon.
I don't agree Corbyn is any of those things. 1. Someone who speaks to terrorists is not a terrorist. 2. Corbyn has many Jewish friends. He is perhaps an anti zionist. 3. A communist is a long way removed from a socialist. Communism has come to relate to Stalinist Russia... which is hardly an epitome of true socialism.
The forest was shrinking; but the trees kept voting for the axe. For the axe was clever and had convinced the trees, that because his handle was wood- he was one of them. - Turkish Proverb
Loading, don't be so serious man! (and St Jabbo) If you take a look at the post I made earlier (#22815) it's clear I don't like Corbyn and the above was a joke at his expense, no more than that. I also wanted to share it with you Jezza fans on here knowing you all have a sense of humour. (But I'm not so sure now)
I think our sense of humour are all rather thin atm. The general election is the joke to those of us that believe in the cause, the media has been using those 'jokes' over and over again

Banter: the playful and friendly exchange of teasing remarks. Your tired and worn out post so often quoted by irrational, deluded and gullible Corbyn haters is anything but.
I can see why some would find it funny . I do agree nerves are frayed at the moment . FWIW I don’t think for one minute you set out to upset anyone . Think we all just need to remain respective and hope for the best when we wake up on Friday 12b.
The latest YouGov poll gives a glimmer of hope and holds the prospect of a hung parliament. Personally I don't think that it will happen and Pfeffel will get his majority, I hope that I'm being a pessimist not a realist. If it does happen then it's a combination of Corbyn's failure to cut through to voters and Tory pro Brexit bias. If the report on foreign interference backs my theory then I will feel the result invalidates both the referendum and tomorrow's poll.
And there’s this as well. No surprises, but it’s in the mainstream media and people are blithely ignoring it: https://metro.co.uk/2019/12/10/inve...ry-ads-misleading-compared-0-labour-11651802/
Be careful what you wish for, in a very hypothetical situation, Tories could get say 320 seats, do a deal with DUP to renegotiate the deal regarding NI and EU refuses , Labour try another Benn amendment to force extension which fails because all the Tories like Letwin who voted for it last time have gone and we end up with no deal.
