We've not had a socialist government though Tom as we had years of Tory Lite under B. liar n Brown.

The Jon Ashworth affair just highlights the chaotic nature of the party's organisation. The "keeping on message" of Labour MP's during the Blair period was much mocked but it actually worked quire well in terms of preventing things like this occurring. There were even rules laid down as to how language was used. For example it was always "with" Labour and "under" the Tories. Little things I know but added together they probably made a difference.

You were quite right Beddy, it wasn't a nurse

it was a doctor according to the mum... Below is a quote from the mirror article posted a bit earlier

"A doctor rushed in said they needed Jack’s bed and literally within a minute all of his stuff was pulled out of the bed," she said.

"The doctor unplugged his oxygen, picked him up and moved us into what I would describe as a cupboard.

"They call it a treatment room. It was room without a bed.

“His oxygen was connected to the wall but he did not have a bed and he was really unwell"

You were asking for the entire department to be retrained or sacked. I’ll ask once again, did you see my post about my friend’s daughter earlier? Another investigation needed?

Don't be ridiculous, it's people like you that drive the blame culture. As a medical professional, a Dr has to make decisions based on most need. If he has a more urgent case, he has to deal with it. It's not first come first served in a hospital, its a constant triage going on depending on medical needs

Personally, I think you have a more forgiving mind where it suits. Hospitals are about healing the sick, not about juggling beds.
Do remember, that unless you are extremely comfortably off. this tory party does not represent you.l Are you going to tug that forlock forever?
Brilliant, once again. What a lovely venue too.

you really do have it in for me tonight don’t you. I did read your post and others have you read all of mine? I don’t quite know what you want me to say that will satisfy you. I do not share your views I am not convinced that wasn’t staged. I do not like the Tory party or the Labour Party. I have not tried to persuade people who to vote for or who not to vote for. I believe that is up to the individual. What ever happened to free speech. I can be a wum as much as others on here. I am entitled to my opinion just the same as others. I don’t bully anyone into my way of thinking. I don’t go much on the media and certainly not on the recent comments on here.

Sorry, but you've completely lost it on this one. Don't you understand that the NHS is being raped time and time again by your precious Tory Party, who would rather see us all with private insurance because there's money to be made out of people's health, or lack of it. So you actively pursue a policy which slowly makes the NHS worse and worse, then say, "hey we can do better with private insurance." And that why Americans are literally dying because they can't afford medicines, because they can't afford the astronomic pricing. And yes, it could easily happen here. And why not? You get the economically less active off the population count because they cease to exist. Dickens had it right in Victorian Britain. He wrote:

At this festive season of the year, Mr Scrooge, ... it is more than usually desirable that we should make some slight provision for the Poor and destitute, who suffer greatly at the present time. Many thousands are in want of common necessaries; hundreds of thousands are in want of common comforts, sir."
    "Are there no prisons?"
    "Plenty of prisons..."
"And the Union workhouses." demanded Scrooge. "Are they still in operation?"
    "Both very busy, sir..."
"Those who are badly off must go there."
"Many can't go there; and many would rather die."
"If they would rather die," said Scrooge, "they had better do it, and decrease the surplus population."

And these days they have appeals to the people to send presents to the thousands of children living in poverty [it's on local radio every day]. Have we become so immune that we accept that this goes on? Food banks, homeless people. All this slowly disappears when a centralist or left-wing government gets in. And then, after righting the economy, bringing back proper standards, and lowering the national debt, they are rewarded by being voted out of office, only to let the Tories back in who slowly lay waste to everything. How much plainer does it need to be? The Conservatives are not representing you.

I asked you what you thought about my friend’s daughter. What you were saying earlier would suggest she was lying too, or that someone at Bristol Children’s Hospital should be sacked or retrained, or even prosecuted. No comment?

How on earth has this been twisted so much that I think the Tories are representing me? Just because I think something was staged.? I have made it very clear several times I am not a Tory or think the Tories are the be all or end all of politics. I trust my own family when it comes to discussing the nhs and their views. They are the people who have first hand experience.

what would be the point...........no matter what I say you would see something in there that you would disagree with.
I also don’t know why you think that I don’t think there is a problem with the NHS because I do. If anyone who is having treatment they should or would not be put on the floor. If a doctor condoned this he would should be out of a job!!! The NHS has enough problems without authorising to putting children supposedly on oxygen and a drip on the floor and taking their bed. It just would not happen. If as you allege it did then he or should be taken out of that department and retrained.
