The Tories don't have anybody to align too, if they fall short of a majority. The DUP won't back them again.

If you don't vote, or a vote for anybody other than the Conservatives, then that's what'll get Corbyn in through the backdoor.

You voted Tory on the forum header Poll (It's heartening to see that Labour lead on that 46 to 29 <laugh> ) my suggestion is vote with your heart not your head, certainly Corbyn is 'Marmite' to some people, but the Labour policies overall are in my view are for a better and fairer society.

All about opinions. I believe I opted conservative in fear of the Corbyn option. The three “big guns” in Labour frighten the life out of me.

From previous conversations (when I was on here as Diddles) you mentioned you're around the same age as me mate, so from my perspective and maybe your's we have to look at our youth and helping them to get on in life, education is the way forward, saddling students with life -long debt is not the way our rich nation should be acting towards our young generation, when we were young University education was more or less free, buying a house and getting onto the property markets was easier and affordable, it's hard enough now to do these things - I have 4 children either going into Uni or still studying there, I feel for them that have to get into so much debt to 'better' themselves !

This ties in with a lot of problems people have with voting Labour.

With the amount of spending (through borrowing) that they're talking about, who is going to be responsible for paying all this back one day when Corbyn and McDonnell are a distant dream?

    Our kids.

Hello mate, didn’t realise it was you! Hope you’re well and thanks for enlightening me!
Not 100% sure on this, but I’m sure it was Labour who introduced the fees? I’ve got one daughter who went to uni who’s now a copper, my other daughter is about to go to study sciences to go into pharmacy.
they only pay a fraction back each year depending on what they earn, it’s not really a big concern.
I’m sticking up for the conservatives a bit in here, don’t really know why. As I said, I still don’t know who I’m voting for, just wish it was all over.
Nice to hear from you though.

The amount for free Uni education is not far off the amount that the Tories gave the DUP for propping them up and the wasted money spent on Brexit

It's not a life long debt. It's more like an extra tax on the better paid graduates. Anything unpaid after 30 years gets written off.

That's just one thing, though. How much is free broadband going to cost? They're handing 58 billion straight over to the Waspi women. Everything is free no problem with Labour. This will all have to be paid back, by us and our youth.

Umm, yep. Question asked...would a turkey vote for Christmas? Putin is a tyrant intent on undermining the western society and he also wants his Eastern European states back. He has to be watched and we may as well, with Corbyn in No 10, raise the white flag.
