    They will get Brexit done.
    That is their only policy.
Wait a minute... which party was in power at the time of the Brexit vote and have been in power ever since?
    Must be Corbyn's lot.

The Tories could be in power in 20 years time and it'll still be everyone else's fault.

    Good for you...

    Corbyn, patriotic!!!!...You sure?
With regard to the poor and vulnerable. What Labour tend to do is increase everyone's tax in order to increase benefits and reward the feckless. They do it every time, without fail, while those who should receive the assistance. Get jack ****. Which is one reason why Labour bankrupt the nation each and every time they are in power.
Saying you won’t vote Labour because of JC is like saying you won’t have an operation etc.....No relevance whatsoever
Voting Conservative because you don’t like JC is like.... FYI I've never voted Tory and won't be on Thursday.
ps. What is MSM? You keep referring to it but I've no idea what it is.

Those awful people smearing Labour do you mean? No thoughts on the Mirror, Independent and Guardian posting half truths, lies and misinformation about the Tories? BTW, posting something someone said but now wished that nobody knew about it is not smearing.

They have never, ever bankrupted a nation. Ever.

So, by your logic, the poor people and those literally starving to death are better off under the current regime, as opposed to one that might make everybody pay a little more but will actively try and solve the problem. Strange. Doesn't sound very human.

When the NHS was first proposed, there was heavy opposition to it, the Tories shat on it from a great height. It's now the envy of the entire world and it wasn't put there by the conservatives. So in 2019, we're looking at changes to the way society can support those who need it most and once again, Labour face heavy opposition. Maybe it's about time we grew up a little and stopped pretending the country is just fine and focus on helping everybody.

‘If you can’t turn the clock back to 1904, what’s the point of being a Conservative?’
    I wonder who said that?

Okay. So why did the last Labour Secretary to the Treasury, Liam Byrne MP leave a note saying there was no money left? For a laugh!!
The people who are in dire need tend not to get the help they require because the workshy get it. That's my point.
The NHS was set up in 1948! Even I'm not that old.

I was referring to all newspapers regardless of who they are targeting.

It is smearing if the intent is to damage the target's chances of winning whatever they're running for.

Here is a classic example. Same year, same newspaper, same policy.

Why do they get it? You understand that most of the people who are starving are already on benefits? You're describing the same people.

Liam Byrne's note, while massively unhelpful to Labour, was a tradition and, perhaps more importantly, a joke. All chancellors do it, it stretches back to the times of Churchill. It isn't the burning point you think it is.

I fail to see why the date the NHS was set up is pertinent to the discussion.
