I'm afraid my description of Corbyn during the Andrew Neil interview was spot on, he looked pathetic and out of his depth.

This was your interpretation of it SH. You wanted to see him looking pathetic and out of touch, and so that is what you saw. The fact that the interviewer was, actually, lying, appears to have slipped under your radar. But then we are all football fans and goals by our own club are brilliant and those of the opposition are either lucky or have a suspicion of offside <laugh>

There cannot be many that did not think Corbyn looked pathetic, he looks ready for retirement, pity, he is the Tories best asset.

Can we get back to discussion the issues rather than politician slagging please?

I cannot make any comments on this because I did not see the interview. I have read reports on it in which Corbyn refused on 4 occasions to apologize for the accusation of anti semitism - which means the question was raised 4 times. This alone tells us more to the detrement of the interviewer, for whom one answer should have been enough. Other reports suggest that the interviewer was, actually, lying at one point - so it may well be that Corbyn was just thoroughly pissed off, which I would have been as well.

Corbyn looked tired and rather frightened. McCluskey will get shot of him soon, they will have a whip-round to buy him a couple of manhole covers and he will slip back into obscurity where he should have remained. His appointment set any socialist agenda back years.

Can you start actually debating themes and issues rather than simply poking fun at all the politicians who you don't like. This type of playground stuff does not convince anyone, nor does it contribute to adult debate.

The latest poll has Labour gaining under 200 seats, less than the previous disaster in 1983. It also puts the Tories on 366 seats. This was taken before the huge Labour spend offers and certainly before Corbyn's renewed problems with anti semitism and the fateful Neil interview.

If this 'latest poll' was taken before the 'huge Labour spend' offers then it wasn't the 'latest poll' - or are you simply taking any old poll and attaching the epithet 'latest' to it to give it more effect ? I know that you have no problem in supporting politicians who are 'economical with the truth', but we can do better than that on here !

Err, .........It was the latest poll, as in the 'latest'. I'm sure the new 'latest' when it comes out will be similar.

The dodgy NHS dossier fabricated today is extremely economical with the truth, I suppose the embarrassment of the last 24 hours made the Labour hierarchy totally desperate to deflect attention away from Corbyn.

This afternoon I was in Great Missenden described as an affluent village. The Christmas lights in the High Street were twinkling away, the shops were busy and warm inside, while outside it was throwing it down with rain. At the end of the High Street is a grass verge and a line of small tents and makeshift shelters were pitched there. This is the new face of England in the 21st century after 10 years of Tory government. You can either say that it is no concern of yours, or look for change.

If you google under 'latest polls' you will find that the latest ones show that the Tory lead has reduced to 11% in one and 7% in the other. If this 'latest' poll was completed before the Labour spending promises then it is not the latest one - something which you well knew before posting.

The NHS dossier in Corbyn's hands was not, I believe, a product of the Labour Party.

You talk utter nonsense sometimes in your attempt to cover up the disgrace that your party has brought upon the country. What you describe as a dodgy NHS dossier has been around for several weeks, so how it can have been fabricated today is beyond belief.

It has been around for ages with absolutely no evidence that the UK government has agreed to anything that would damage the NHS. To pretend otherwise only fools people like yourself. They were desperate to move on from Corbyn's dreadful performance and anti Semite criticisms.

Plenty of people living in France in tents, you should be well used to it.

Have they moved Great Missenden to France? I must have missed the outcry of the well heeled locals. Deal with the issue SH, or is it beyond your capability?

I'm sure some of local residents also have shacks in rural France so have the best of both worlds.
