You’re calling the football fans morons who criticise Corbyn’s policy to give football clubs back to the football fans. Am I the only one who sees the irony of that comment?

<laugh>

only specific ones im sure there's more with the brains to realise it's a good thing for fans to have say in the running of the club!!! Newcastle fans especially as it happens !!! moron

im done with you fools

You mean the fans who send letters to perspective new owners ensuring the continuation of Ashleys control?

The most intelligent football fans are the ones who realise football is a sport and have better things to worry about.

I don't think it's the government's responsibility to walk around handing over public money to purchase private businesses. Especially when not everyone in Britain gives a **** about football.

The owners of Man City have done more to build up the area around their stadium than any government initiative would accomplish.

The Salford boy's have done more for their club than a fan consortium would ever accomplish.

How would a football club ever, ever improve? We have seen in Germany the league stagnates, the only difference in years has been Red Bull buying a team and ripping the league apart.

But of course Corbyn is an Arsenal fan, I'm sure he'd be up for this.

have you ever heard of a club called Barcelona … aye

yeah its a bad idea look how crap Barcelona are

Barcelona fans who sign up to be FC Barca members pay almost a tax to the football club. The top members at Barca are almost always and exclusively extremely wealthy men who donate large quantities of cash.

The northern working class city of Newcastle has such people does It?

Barca have a completely different system. If you would like to run Newcastle like a public limited company, then we can discuss, but Corbyns idea is not that.

I actually don’t agree with fans having an “official” say in how the Club works.

https://www.theguardian.com/politic...e-football-fans-more-say-in-how-clubs-are-run

Who would those fans be? How would they be selected? How many would there be to represent 50,000+ at matches and probably many hundreds of thousand non match attending fans? What would there actual role be? Does having a say mean they can actually “do” or “stop” something from happening? What if the Club doesn’t have more than one Board member?

Where would they have acquired the expertise to properly run a multi million pound business? How much of a say and or input would they have? The policy is a half baked idea which is intended to appeal to football fans as a sop to pretend that a politician really cares about football fans as opposed to votes.

No probs

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, even the moaning fans but that’s all they’re entitled to. They’re not entitled to take over a private company just because Corbyn wants votes.

:emoticon-0148-yes:

nope fans have no right to moan for passing up the opportunity to have a say and I thank Corbyn for offering it. either go and stfu or don't go .

now I'm off to stroke my Coventry badge for today

chow

Corbyn is now ‘neutral’ on Brexit apparently.

the biggest democratic point of debate in our country’s recent history.

I can’t remember ‘neutral’ being an option on the last or the proposed future ballot paper.

what a coward that old washed up tramp is. He’s now pissing off remainers AND leavers...

corbynn isn't the dishonest one plain and simple.

the man who put out a manifesto on 2017 saying Labour would respect the result of the referendum and then ripped that up by constantly blocking Brexit and switching position (when all his front benchers publicly ..were anti Brexit)?

The man who said he’s tackle the racist Labour Party and deal with the problem once and for all... several times... only for the EHRC to take matters into their own hands cos he didn’t deal with it?

righto :)

Ps.. evening in advance @Southerner

Labour have blocked Brexit mate. Check the voting of the Brexit Party on all Brexit issues. People have seen this with their own eyes on TV.

Then google ‘labour remainer’ and see what your own front bench have to say.

Jezza May fool some with all the freebies he gives away but most wont be fooled.
