I actually don’t agree with fans having an “official” say in how the Club works.

Who would those fans be? How would they be selected? How many would there be to represent 50,000+ at matches and probably many hundreds of thousand non match attending fans? What would there actual role be? Does having a say mean they can actually “do” or “stop” something from happening? What if the Club doesn’t have more than one Board member?
Where would they have acquired the expertise to properly run a multi million pound business? How much of a say and or input would they have? The policy is a half baked idea which is intended to appeal to football fans as a sop to pretend that a politician really cares about football fans as opposed to votes.
