I think both the sacking and the appointment are mistakes. But that isn't a reason to be angry. Every Chairman makes mistakes but almost all of them have the best interests of their club as their priority.

Toxic appointment.
Very sad times and years of anguish/mediocrity ahead again.
The Poch era was it in my lifetime. The best it was and ever will be.
With a third of a season gone doesn't mean anything. And we are still in the CL which we had managed once before ENIC.You mean similar to where we are currently?
Not a bad move, tbfWho you supporting next?
Infact I might start a thread asking since there seems to be a lot of Spurs fans who think that’s it for us back to Cricket
Not at all. I just don't do anger about football decisions. You must log in or register to see images
The appointment could be a mistake but the sacking was long overdue. He had become too much of a negative influence about the place. The form of the team since the beginning of the year has been abysmal. Players that used to run their butts off for the team, pressing up-field were just going through the motions; a clear indication that he had lost a large part of the dressing room.I think both the sacking and the appointment are mistakes. The tweets from Kane, Son and Dele were all very supportive. I agree that something looked wrong but I think he had earned the time to sort it out.The appointment could be a mistake but the sacking was long overdue. That is probably true but it is driven by the increased revenue we now have. It wasn't an option before without breaking ffp rules.
I think he hasn't got his head straight after the CL Final defeat and telling the media that he might leave if Spurs won it didn't help either. As soon as players think you're not going to be around for much longer their levels are going to drop. And the fact that we're in relegation form means something had to be done. Levy has to share some of the blame for not getting rid of Toby, Jan, Eriksen and Rose in 2018 for big money as Poch wanted in order to re-invest in the squad but ultimately Levy isn't going to get rid of himself. The tweets from Kane, Son and Dele were all very supportive. It was you that said Spurs fans should be angry with Levy!Nothing to do with anger it’s the lack of honest appraisal for our owner because he has built us into a super power off the field but when he is failing dramatically with on field activity you defend him to the hilt and now he makes a decision you disagree with and you do the equivalent of a shoulder shrug even though that decision goes against all your footballing ethics and beliefs it seems.
Teflon Levy
However like I said earlier..I praise him for his ruthlessness once again and his appointment of Jose.

I disagree with a lot of things that Levy does and a few that Poch does. But I am a Tottenham fan and that is almost certain to remain the case irrespective of what is happening. Levy has a big personal investment in Spurs and I think he is genuinely trying to build us into the top club in the world. Probably a little ambitious but Audere est facere.
Essentially I think the best Chairman in the PL has ****ed up by getting to a position where he felt he had to sack our best manager for 50 years. But running a football club is incredibly difficult so he gets cut a lot of slack. I don't want to feel angry when I attend matches as that makes them no fun.Oh yeah well angry could have been replaced with a lot of words my point was you should be raising your eyebrow in his direction since you disagree with this appointment so vehemently.

No doubt I will do that but the same applies to Levy and every player.Sing Jose’s name and back him...give him the support he deserves and understand that he will make demands for players as all managers do..it’s not exclusive to Jose.
