Wonder if the same bellends knock **** out of their partners while screaming that they are actually loved?
Wonder how many of them can take criticism at their work?

Seems like SDs interview yesterday is the clear announcement that we were looking for, or as clear as we are going to get anyway, and I believe that he was being as honest as he could be. There was a takeover price agreed but FPP decided to do the investment/loan instead. He said that there were things still confidential, but I took this to be payment terms etc., rather than some larger underlying deal. That could still be there and obviously, as has been discussed, he did 'imagine' a few of the things that they might intend, but certainly nothing certain. I was hoping for the takeover to provide the 'certainty' that even if we had to stay longer in this league while we got ourselves sorted out, eventually the future would be ok. What we have instead is definitely a positive step towards that, so now it's time to stop worrying about it and just hope that the football improves soon. If the takeover hadn't have been leaked the way that it was, with the T shirts and everything, I think that this deal would have been viewed as very good news indeed.
I agree with everything you say... I just think that he missed out the bit about how we're going to sort out the team.

Methven is looking after the lift situation (dare I say, the SAFC equivalent of Rees Mogg's Grenfell comments), Donald has said a lot of nice things about the future.. nobody has said/acknowledged anything about how we get out of the current situation.

I'm probably being harsh as there is probably something tasty they can't say, it seems obvious that there is more to the deal than meets the eye, but talk of roof and lift repair at an ebb like this really doesn't help.

We do need to find some positivity atm. Whether that's the owners, the players, the fans or a combination.

Back to Grant's sticking together comment again?

One signing we never needed like Grigg
Agreed. Another signing where it was quoted "he's got a good record in this division" or "we beat championship sides to him". No thought about whether he will add pace, strength or legs, which was what we needed. Missed the boat again in the summer when we didn't sign pace or strength up front.

Quality he's never showed playing for us

Yet here's donald saying we should all thank richard hill for saving the club but at the same time it is hill who negotiates all the deals ( wages and fees ) and who works hand in hand with coton.
Look at the pile of 5hite they have loaded us up with.
Got more front than selfridges.
Just like methven insinuating we need to spend money on things like lifts ( not players ) and donald says we should thank the man who brought us ross, parkinson, grigg, mcgeoch, Baldwin, de bock, wyke etc etc.
Why cant they keep their traps shut?
Am I missing something here? Am I being unreasonable?

Or no club at all like Bury etc

It was lifts and players actually.

I would suggest yes, you are missing something. Hill deals with the finances, not the targeting. It's utterly pointless blaming him for the quality/commitment/abilities of the players when he didn't scout them.

I'm very very confident that we have a few more years in us before we ever plumb the depths that bury reached.
The 10m or so guarantees that we have a future, just dont know who the owners will be come the end of next season
