Yes I did, and agree with you.
I have made my point, perhaps offensive was the wrong word, better to use inappropriate on a serious thread like this.
I will leave it up to the Mods to decide what is appropriate or not for now.

As I said, I only did it to keep politics to one thread. I don't see how moving it now will help.

The language used was very tame, I didn't see the offence in it.

I have read what people have said and agree that cartoons can be funny, but probably don't really have a place on here which should be about debate. So as I cannot move them, any that appear on here will be deleted which is my only option. So as they would say here, "merci pour votre compréhension".

The news about the NHS imploding really should be one of the hot topics in this election. The figures are for October, so we haven't got to the high demand part of the year. "We have put extra funding in over the past three months" says Johnson. A bit late mate. You have had years to sort things out, and instead of getting better we see it getting worse. Hospitals have had departments closed, buildings sold off rather than repair and staff them as their budgets in real terms have been reduced.

Glad to see the editor of the Yorkshire Post saying things that will not be music to the PM's ears. They had flooding in the region four years ago, yet since then there has been little money available to improve flood defences. It is little wonder that the local population were not impressed with him turning up and holding a mop for a photoshoot.

Despite the floods everything is going swimmingly for Boris.

at the entrance to the venue - understood it was due to security concerns & on police advice.

He doesn't seem to be having much luck dealing with Joe Public. A couple of dozen turn up to heckle him in Glastonbury, so he does a runner. How pathetic for a PM.

What we should look at is how Norway built up the wealth fund. They used revenues from the oil and gas industries, while in the UK money from the same sources just disappeared to private investors.
Which , according to the neo-liberal orthodoxy of the time, would trickle down thereby benefitting everyone. Ha ! That went well, didn't it ? Step forward all those who believed in neo-liberal economics and apologise to all those now in poverty.

Free-market capitalism has raised the living standards in the UK tremendously which is why currently working class voters much prefer the Conservatives to form the next government. The idea of an alternative marxist Corbyn government rightly horrifies the general public.

People out canvassing are reporting the plague on all your houses attitude. What response are you getting from your door knocking.

Every opinion poll has the Tories way ahead with one even enjoying a 20 point lead among lower income voters. Surely all those in the bread queue are rooting for Boris now?

If by rooting you mean ditch digging, I could quickly raise a small army of helpers.
