Nope, Brexit dominates the public's concerns, HS2 does not make the list even.

There are undoubtedly some dark arts going on, and you really do have to wonder to what extent. I was bombarded with Brexit material via my computer which surprised me because as far as I know no government department has my e-mail address, or at least I have never given it to them. The local council has it, but not central government. I can only assume that it has been passed on. If you read some of the comments made by readers on some newspaper sites it is obvious that outsiders from the UK are trying to influence opinion. Every now and again one gives himself away as being in a hostile country, and regular users of some sites seem to be very good at picking them out. They usually stop posting after exposure, but then reappear under a different name.

Nigel has let Brexiteers down ... he should be standing up for the 17.4m people who voted for Brexit.
I don’t regard Boris Johnson’s deal as Brexit. It’s not even close.
Farage has been totally outmanoeuvred and out-negotiated without Boris [Johnson] even having to say anything.

It's putting Nigel before country. He will go down in infamy letting down so many good people with whom he sought their trust. He is finished as a politician

For me the Brexit party was about more than Brexit. It was a chance to change politics for good and shake up our institutions ...
I couldn’t vote for those who are standing in my constituency in all good conscience,” she said. I couldn’t vote for [local Conservative candidate and cabinet minister] Liz Truss because I do think the Tories have negotiated a terrible deal.

So it seems that candidates who have paid up to stand, and one claims to have spent £11,000 on materials, have been dumped at the whim of Farage. When will people realise that he is without the slightest regard for others?

The extremely clever Farage knows his excellent work over the last 10-15 years will only come to fruition if the leave vote is not split. Any Brexit candidate should also understand the simple mathematics. Due to the UK's remainer led negotiators over the last 3 years Boris's deal is the best that could be hoped for in the circumstances. Let us leave then show the EU cretins on the other side of the channel our determination to secure a proper free trade deal.

I would like to know how Putin is managing to make Corbyn look so utterly useless, whatever he is doing he must be pleased with the result.

He's cost a lot of people a lot of money by doing this. His BP candidates had to fork out £100 per person to try to get nominated as an MP, he's fleeced another few 10ks out of the gullible BREXIT MEANS BREXIT lot.

His future is sorted though, EU pension + racist US shows and speeches, he'll be rolling in cash until his retirement. I don't believe in souls but if they existed, he wouldn't have one.

The World is a lot bigger than just the camps of 'leave' and 'remain' SH. You remind me a little bit of some Alsatians - the World consists only of people you growl at and people you love. The World is a bit more complex than that. Seen from one side (that favoured by most of the media) Corbyn is indecisive on Brexit, and protects anti Semites (and now anti Hindus) in his party - seen from the other side he realizes that the only way Britons can be reconciled is from the middle, and he supports oppressed people everywhere. The election is not just about Brexit but about the model of future British society - the neo liberal model of unrestrained free market dominance as against what Labour is proposing - wealth tax, finance transaction tax, renationalization of essential industries such as rail, post, energy, the piloting of an unconditional basic income for every citizen, and the decentralization which Britain so badly needs. The media will try desparately to nobble Corbyn through trumped up charges, and character assassination because they are terrified by his economic vision, but cannot attack it directly because they know that he may have the public behind him.

You need the read the latest YouGov poll on the public's concerns for the election which will show Brexit is by far the main issue. The Tories have also cleverly announced record investment in the NHS, police and schools. Corbyn's personal ratings are shockingly bad, the public simply don't like him,

Correction SH - the media doesn't like him - the public don't know him. Through the course of this campaign it will be Labour's job to alter that, and with the media coverage being equal at election time they will have the chance to do that.

I really don't know how you can keep trotting out this nonsense about record investment. It is not. It is simply bringing back some of the money that was cut from the budgets. Do you lap up everything that your party tells you without checking that they are not telling fairy stories.

Well it seems to be your opinion against all polling evidence. The public do not like him, he is the most unpopular Labour leader ever. To pretend otherwise is daft.

The Tories are doing so well in the polls because they accept that record investments are going into the NHS, Police and schools.

That doesn't mean that it is right though. I suspect that in the coming weeks it will be exposed as even more untruths.
