But you don’t seem to want to put it to bed, you seem like you want to keep it going on and on and on

No, I want the details of the people who could (I hope) own the club in the near future. When I know what will make that happen, and what the potential consequences are of the deal that was done last week, it will be put to bed from my side. As I said, I'll hold my hands up if it's proven that Donald has put his own cash in to a substantial level and say good job to the bloke.

it seems personal as you are on a mission. WE are not entitled to know. They do not owe US an explanation.
But YOU want to know so it is personal in your mind.

I think you should just pipe down fella, you either want me to say 'I' or you want me to say 'we', but here's the crucial part: I don't give a ****, so I'm just going to carry on, and actually, if it makes you piss your pants a bit trying to police an internet forum and decide what can and can't be said by football fans, then that's a good thing.

Goodnight to one and all, I have better things to do than argue with the demented.

You are not going to be told that, the same as every other fan at every other club in the world won't be told the ins and outs of the owners deals

One more post just to wind up the lad who obsessed over whether I'm allowed to change my mind about posting in a thread or not (I am)

There's hopefully less consequence to me being right now anyway, but in essence, that's what I want to know. If this is just piling debt on the club with no realistic chance of a takeover, then that's not 'good' (although if it's manageable, then it might be, we'd need to know more details on terms to make sure we haven't swapped SBC out for other debt finance). If they're able to oversee how money is spent, then it's a good thing.

<laugh>

Is there anything you can do about it? Is there **** so piss off back to RTG with the rest.
They won’t have him, I’ve heard he’s banned for life for being a bellend, oh and pretending not to be the person everybody knows he is. So unfortunately, cos this is a nice board, he’s here, til they get the idea that he’s not the full shilling and on a vendetta, oh and a bellend.

On October 2nd, 2017, an ownership group led by Bruce Sherman and Derek Jeter announced the completion of its $1.2 billion acquisition of the Miami Marlins, which included a preferred equity investment from an affiliate of MSD Partners, L.P. (“MSD”), the private investment arm of Michael S. Dell’s family office.

Cravath represented MSD in connection with the preferred equity investment. Financial terms of MSD’s investment were not disclosed.

Miami Marlins, L.P. owns a baseball team in Miami, Florida. The company operates a website that offers baseball news, videos, scoreboards, statistics, schedules, and rosters, as well as sells tickets, mobile gaming applications, clothing, and accessories online.

If you google takeovers of other clubs, you'll find plenty is said by the parties involved. Villa, Liverpool, Arsenal etc it was all done in public with press releases to clarify the nature of the deal for fans, so stop drinking the 'nobody gives people these details'.

We can expect any investor to release something. Even Sartori did. It should be a feather in their cap.

Why though, we are football supporters not financial experts or analysts and what difference would knowing make. I’d prefer to live in ignorant financial bliss and support me team

I would've preferred a secured loan but you can't have everything

You just won't let it go will you.

How about you email the club and ask for a private audience with the owners and the Americans to discuss your concerns and demands for answers.

Im sure they will accommodate it
