It was £1m, it's now £10m, so £9m has been put into the club.

It's a disgrace that he's had to stop because of it. Some people should be ashamed by the bile and vitriol that they've spewed towards him and his family.Shame that Donald has stopped attending because of the abuse, get yerself back to match Stewy lad! Looking forward to seeing the new strategies put in place as the areas of recruitment and the academy were being criticised. Good read that. KTF.

No, the statement of capital tells us how much the share capital has gone up to, like a bank balance. The SH01 form shows that £9m of new shares have been sold to Madrox, increasing the balance from the old £1m to the new £10m.Confused, would that not be 11?

That says Tony Davison is still an active director.

That's a really good interview. Couldn't ask for more in-depth or a view into the strategic decisions.https://www.sunderlandecho.com/spor...next-sunderland-wide-ranging-interview-824297
Echo's interview with CM posted 07:00hrs this morning
A little more information, sure that there is more to come
Aye and it shouldn't take him having to pump money into the club for people to stop giving him crap. What a bunch of babies football fans can be. Embarrassing.
I hope that now the investment has gone through he'll feel welcome again at the games but like I say it shouldn't have taken that. Can't help but feel like the relationship is soured for good now.
If what Methven says is true, and I believe it is, the guys running the club don't deserve a scrap of the criticism they've been taking.
I have knowledge of investments, dividends and proxy voting.
My point isn't actually questioning GOM, it's questioning the statement about the ownership being unchanged by Methven/The Echo. If they have purchased preference shares, they have taken some ownership in Madrox.
Completely agree mate.Aye and it shouldn't take him having to pump money into the club for people to stop giving him crap. What a bunch of babies football fans can be. Embarrassing.

The BBC are suggesting that it's a £10mil 'investment.
Useful, better than a bash in the teeth with a blunt shovel, but not a takeover.
Perhaps there's more (information or better still, investment) to come.

Sunderland LtdAt Companies House there’s been a £9 million capital injection into Madrox which seems to have then been transferred to the club so it appears that it’s a loan to Madrox and repayable by them but not on the club’s books if that makes sense.
Just got a bad feeling like it’s a false dawn marraThat is a really strange response to news that 3 billionare businessman are investing a significant sum in our club.
Care to elaborate?
Is there a waiting list?Who's bucking Mrs O whilst i'm away for the weekend?
"You think more of football than you do of me"!LOL, she doesn't go but she'll expect me to be nurse maid by sacrificing the match.
It is a disgrace, but if I had the opportunity to speak to Mr Donald and Mr Methven I would ask them to see the difference between social media and the real world. It's a disgrace that he's had to stop because of it. Some people should be ashamed by the bile and vitriol that they've spewed towards him and his family.
