Shame that Donald has stopped attending because of the abuse, get yerself back to match Stewy lad! Looking forward to seeing the new strategies put in place as the areas of recruitment and the academy were being criticised. Good read that. KTF.

I like the bit about CM and SD looking forward to having FFP as mentors....

Echo's interview with CM posted 07:00hrs this morning
A little more information, sure that there is more to come

I'll have to re-read that when I've got a bit more time, but it's impossible to read it, as a fan, and not be excited about the future of this club.

I've long been an advocate of the idea that we need to set ourselves up with a structure and identity that can help us succeed over the long term rather than living transfer window to transfer window. It feels like we have owners who understand that as well and are implementing a strategy to deliver that.

Yep, and using their contacts in the sporting "and entertainment world's". More gigs at the SoL? They had mentioned previously about making it an all year venue to increase revenue.

Cheers mate, I have to say it's been quite overwhelming how many people have come forward with similar posts. I thought I was posting to a handful of the last few clinging on and believing me. Even people I've previously trusted, here and elsewhere, turned against me. But I've now had dozens of posts, and pm's, from people saying they've been kept going by my posts. Despite the relentless negativity, and personal attacks, there was never a moment when I considered giving in to the sad bunch of losers who seem to wallow in their own pit of bile. The ones who created usernames on here, but only ever pm'd me, to continue their sniping are actually to be pitied. One of them came on here solely to attack me, was banned then created another account to come back and continue. No doubt weirdos like these will always believe they're justified so it's pointless arguing with them. They'll now turn their attention to pulling this deal to pieces, claiming Short is still in control, SD & CM are syphoning millions out of the club and that the Americans have all run off with pole dancers.

Anyway, that's all I have to say on that ....

.... the decent people have better things to think about such as looking forward to an actual football match.

I think it would do us good to take a break from all the speculation, investigative journalism and hack accounting.

Haway the Lads!!!
Well said mate and I can only echo the huge thanks of the other posters. You're a legitimate MLF who has kept a lot of others going the past 8 weeks or so and if you're ever up for a SAFC match, I'm sure there will be plenty of pints coming your way. I'll be keeping an eye out and be hunting you down to jam a Guinness in your hand if I have the opportunity :emoticon-0148-yes:

Just gutted it's happened when I'm offshore so I can't make the match tomorrow as I'm sure it will be a great atmosphere from the real fans who support the club.

It is exciting news.
I hope fans can accept that if we develop talent and sell it , that is part and parcel of what will sustain us.
In the past people have got all uppity when we sold the likes of pickford, bent and maja etc.
It hurts especially when they are local lads but you cant help wondering how would Henderson have done had he stayed, because right now he is first name on the sheet by the best manager of the best team in Europe.
I think he may have gone stale had he stayed.
Hopefully if the new investors see real promise and want to exploit it they put us on the same footing as the real big boys.
Ah well, dreams

They are not telling us much. Is it a loan? They haven't bought a share so how do they get their money back? How is it an investment for them?

Thanks Smug. You didnt have to go out of your way constantly in keeping us up to date on any gossip. If it had been me I would have told us all to piss off ages ago. If not for your updates I'd have given up on the whole takeover/investment ages ago too.

Whilst I'm cautious about this there is no getting away from it that it's great to have such people investing in the club. Still can't get me head around knowing this investment was incoming and appointing Phil Parkinson.

Chris the accountant thinks it's a loan too. If preference shares were issued rather than a loan that would become obvious on Madrox's companies house record soon.
