For example,the ability to get hold of a teammate.....any teammate,.... who's brain has gone walkabout and get him back into line. O9 doesn't have that experience.....yet,imo.
I'm not one for experience. Its over rated and imo an excuse to not have faith in 'younger' players.
I also think that type of character has gone from the game tbh

I understand. Imo,above all else,the captain needs to be someone who commands the respect of his teammates,someone they will listen to and be inspired by. Younger players can have it,it's not an age thing,but Luke,as much as I love him,has not yet generated the elevation of stature which,imo,is required. It's not I don't think it could come in the future,it's more that I think he's feeling his way just yet.

Bottles in my fridge don't hang around long enough to get of date marra.....in the modern world I think it's called a FIFO supply chain of constant replenishment!
Just in time logistics I believe... FIFO will ensure that your beer doesn't go out of date.. (not that there's a risk!)

There's nothing I can add, I've posted everything I've been told and am just waiting like everyone else.
I was told that there'd be a statement last week and there wasn't.
Then I was told Monday and that passed.
I was told that by someone in good faith and now he feels bad for telling me. I feel bad for getting people's hopes up but, if I'm given another date I'll post it. When all is said done no one dies if I'm wrong and no one will believe me 100% until there's a club statement in any case.
Donald & Methven may well be doing a great job, behind the scenes, but these 'imminent' leaks aren't helping.
Not your fault mate, just one of those things it's Sunderland after all
