I thought Lopes had a good game personally. Why Grosicki elected to pass when he was in a perfect position to shoot is anyone’s guess.

overall, a good team performance. Top 3:
De Wijs - imperious in defence and pulled off several impressive passes as we moved forward. becoming a leader for the team.
Bowen - two well taken goals resulting from McCann bringing on Eaves and moving Jarrod to his best position.
Toral - showed the creative input that has been lacking in our midfield
Honorable mentions for Elder, Burke, Lichaj and Irvine.
Demerits for Long (heart in mouth every time the ball goes toward him, his handling made it look like someone was throwing him live wet eels), Grosicki (set up the two goals, but wimped out of at least 4 x 1-on-1s with the keeper in favour of hopeless passes), Lopes (spent 90 minutes imitating a footballer without playing much football), Bowler (we don't want divers).
