interesting that business studies and accountancy are classed as Arts!
It's an art to stay awake in the Accountancy lectures
The first year was common with the Business Studies though. My brother was there from 84-88 and did his Law Degree there.

I was there from 88-90...I dropped out two years into my BA Accountancy. Glad I did too....I'm boring, but not that boring![]()
Yeah, my 1st year was joint Business Studies/Accountancy then we had to decide which degree to go for. No way would I have stuck with Accountancy! Were you in the top or bottom of the campus. I was in the top - H Block!!finished in 82, so we probably passed each other at some point!
I was in the old building at the bottom. I think it was the Welsh college of mining before it became the Poly of Wales? Were you in the top or bottom of the campus. I was in the top - H Block!!![]()
Yes, I think you're right.I was in the old building at the bottom. I think it was the Welsh college of mining before it became the Poly of Wales?

Yes, I'm pretty sure that it was the top block. I was in the top block in halls as well, block 4 I think. Was H block the top? That was where I was in the first year - but A block rings a bell? I remember not having a light in my room for a week and they kept ignoring my requests to get it repaired in the book we had in reception. I still remember to this day what got it fixed, I wrote in the maintenance book:
There once was a man named Mark,
Who was fed up of sitting in the dark,
It was so frustrating,
He got fed up of waiting,
And tore the poor maintenance man apart.
Funny what you remember![]()

. I Will apportion blame right where it belongs. Lock, stock and barrel on the Conservative party for allowing the ERG to lay its agenda and become the dominant forcé within the party. The Tory party alone is to blame for the Brexit fiasco. They dreamt it up and somehow it gathered legs when it should have been thwarted dead in it's tracks by a succession of weak leaders. It is disgraceful that a centre right party has taken this course of action.Regarding your last sentence, if Boris gets his Brexit it will be at least in part due to Jo Swinson grandstanding her personal animosity to Jeremy Corbyn, and in so doing scuppering hopes for a VoNC and interim government of National Interest.
But let’s not start apportioning blame for something that hasn’t happened yet.
A referendum was what was needed for them to come to an agreement.......but if parliament cannot agree and cannot come to an agreement.........What happens then??????
Also I'm a bit mystified as to how opposing people are able to stop a vote on something in parliament. Surely that is undemocratic too??
