You said this season is the lowest point in Sunderland history. I'm saying that the last 2 seasons under short were our worst in recent history, in debt and on the verge of financial collapse, even if Short did pay off the debt in the end (was that out of the goodness of his heart, or because he couldn't sell the club if not and didn't want to face his name being dragged through the mud if we went into administration)

I'd say the club is better run financially now than it was under Short.

I honestly would prefer a financially stable club, run within it's means than a billionnaire owner pissing money down the drain getting us further and further in debt, making awful decisions both on and off the field.

Donald may have handled the takeover badly (but that boat hasn't sailed yet imo) , but otherwise he's done alright by us so far.

Right now I'm cautiously optimistic about the future. Naturally, if we can get new billionaire owners who know what they're doing and make good decisions, then I'd be not only optimistic but bloody over the moon. But that's a big if - First we need to get the new owners (whoever they maybe) , then we have to see how well they'll run the place.

Anyway, there is a difference between being down about the current situation and making **** up just to have another excuse to have a go at the current regime (to be clear, that isn't you)

All we can do is but wait and see let’s hope you are right but I very much doubt it.

Parkinson, like it or not, is under massive pressure right from the off. I dont know if he realises this. We simply have to get out of this division this season - which means top 2 (we've always been **** in the play offs). If we dont go up the whole thing will get even more toxic.

    D Day is next May.

Just seen the video where he was asked about sexy football on the safc Facebook thing.

His reply gives me confidence. He knows we have to earn the right to play sexy football
