Would Davison going free up a role for o Brian?Another senior member of the management team left 3 weeks ago because the "takeover was going through". This was before the hurdles came up though
Essentially, if Davison has gone, there's no one running the commercial side of the club. Which means there needs to be some new appointments. But I honestly don't know who that would be, MSD, other investors etc. Keep your fingers crossed Donald has chosen wisely
honeyman done it and so does gooch... just have a look.. drives me madSpot on marra. Catts was one of the worst. Used to deliberately move behind an opposing player to make himself "unavailable"
It’s a decent point m8, the grandson, Nathan, built the recycling bit of the business up from nowt, and sold it to biffa for a canny sum, £20 odd million I seem to recall, so he could be in mind, but in terms of football knowledge I wouldn’t have seen it coming, but with our club who knows!Would Davison going free up a role for o Brian?

Sorry mate, I didnt expect you to know the answer, I was just speculating as to a possible reasonI don't know mate, honestly. Sorry
I’d heard similar. Feel sorry for him but it’s definitely related to a takeover.
Football knowledge would help, but in the commercial role is it necessary? It’s a decent point m8, the grandson, Nathan, built the recycling bit of the business up from nowt, and sold it to biffa for a canny sum, £20 odd million I seem to recall, so he could be in mind, but in terms of football knowledge I wouldn’t have seen it coming, but with our club who knows!

IF the rumour is true I'm suprised Davison has gone as his reputation was very good when he joined and only last week he was at a major sports expo in Twickenham
He's pretty good at saying ummmm a lotIf he's gone I think it's a role for Donald tbh, not sure what else he can do
Because no one believes billionaires would touch this basket case of a club with a barge pole
What do you meanAnother false dawn? I can't handle this anymore

If true it's huge news. I said a while ago that I didn't see how Donald could stay; we wouldn't want him overseeing the football side where he'd admit he hasn't done well, simply doing fan engagement stuff like Chris Waters doesnt seem like a genuine role for a director. The only other thing he could do, that he's good at, is the commercial side (with a bit of the fan stuff that he likes on top) but we had Davison there who seems to have a good reputation. If Davison has gone that's the role Donald takes to stay involved.
I'll take with a pinch of salt for now mind, after all we also heard O'Brien had joined as a Director and that seems to be bollocks, but if true it must mean the Americans are coming (or, being pessimistic, that we're cutting costs even more, but let's assume it isn't that!)
That's the spirit!Things sound positive - i figure they’ll invest once they we hit certain milestones- i also have confidence on the new management- supposed to get the teams fit and positive - i am prepared for slow gains if the strategy is solid
