Whether this appointment is unpopular or not. Is now irrelevant we have to get behind this fella 100%. Can the new mans tactics be any worse than what we have experienced recently? We have decent players- he might even get them playing
We don't have to get behind him at all.

We the fans can make our feelings perfectly clear and crank up the pressure on SD.

We need SD to sell up and go

Scott Wilson of the Northern Echo tweeted in reply to a question about any takeover:

“Let’s just say that I’m not aware of anything remotely imminent and leave it at that....”

Could weep

That will do the team the world of good!

Fair dos with Donald but not the manager surely, it’s not his fault!

I, this guys gonna have to hit the ground running, our first three results could make or break him, as comments from some of our supporters certainly isn't giving the guy a chance.

Lose on Saturday and Tuesday could be awful. He could be gone in 2 months if he doesn’t start well. And his record suggests he’s a slow starter..

But if we get behind him SD will sit and think he can do what he wants. If we voice our opinions strongly enough SD will have to sell

Wonder how the Americans see this.

‘End of the season we will pay the ****er zero for the club and take it on as a going concern’

Where’s his bargaining chip to get his money out when the club becomes worthless and literally needs bankrolled to survive?

Short sighted in the extreme.

I hear what you are saying but my priority and I’m sure is yours is the team .

I pray we get some good news re the investment very soon

Is this RAWA thing still kicking about. If so a statement needs to be released on behalf of the fans as to the concerns regarding where SD is taking us with a demand to know exactly why 2 takeovers have fell through.
Could of done it through twitter but as has happened on 3 occasions the bottler has gone into hiding.
It is now beyond worrying about looking like those up the road. Actions needed now.

Agreed. I'll get behind Parkinson, it's not the blokes fault that he's been offered the job and can't blame him for accepting!

However, for Donald:
  • Appointment of Ross : failure
  • Hill and Coton : failure (thus far)
  • The first aim of getting back to the championship: failure (and this season looking no better)
  • Attracting investment: failure (so far)
  • Appointment of Parkinson : tbc
I don't think it's going too far to say that if this appointment doesn't work and we don't go up, he has to sell up and **** off. Podcasts are great, finances are apparently better (after parachute payments and Short paying debt off), but my main concern is the git green bit in the middle of the stadium and thus far he's got **** all right and we're treading water at best.

He needs to be able to turn around to us at the end of the season and say "you didn't think he'd do it, but at least he's got us up". If he can then fair play. If not it's yet another poor decision, and one that many warned would be poor, not like he's pushed the boat out for Stendel or Pearson and if it doesn't work at least we went for the best options on paper. He's gone for what looks like a cheap, mediocre, uninspiring option. If it goes badly he'll have almost no support left amongst the fans

Sounds fairly similar, according to a Bolton fan he prefers a hard to beat 4-2-3-1 with long balls

Can’t disagree with that - hopefully your last two bullets aren’t fails.
