He put in £5million up top, we know as he told us.

We have no idea how much went in towards costs and salaries.

How can I quote ‘just numbers’ when we don’t know them and the clubs accounts haven’t yet been published for the period.

If you have a full list of income and expenditure vs club revenue then please do share.

You don’t though, nobody outside the club does, hence why all this is speculative bullshit that’s potentially deeply damaging to the club.

Nobody knows any of this information yet they are trying to paint the clubs owner as a crook and trying to stand by it.

If it transpires, through factual information, that he’s done anything wrong then I’ll be near the front of the queue of dissenting voices.

It won’t though, will it? We can easily account for the clubs income. Easily.

Why does anyone care if SD used the parachute payment to buy the club. Surely that's better than a high interest loan from someone like Close Brothers. Did Short or Drumaville suffer the same kind of scrutiny from amateur accountants?

I don't think Donald will be seen to have shafted us once he moves on, I'm sure we'll be better off.. hopefully with the 'Dell Boys' on board.

I understand people who think that it sounds wrong to use the parachute payment to 'buy' the club, however I think that regardless of how the takeover was accounted for on paper, we were where Short intended us to be in the end - paid off.

We haven't got a clue of the reasons for how that deal was structured, other than to think that it was done to leave us at a fresh start with as little tax/financial implications as possible for the club, the old and the new owners.

"Donald has been proven to talk ****e as well, which is why I don’t believe what he says"
or
"We’d have money in the bank as well if it wasn’t used to buy the club"

Could be that Roger has had enough of posts that could get RTG into trouble.

Nobody has called him a criminal or crook, that I know of? Just saying the club's money (in our opinion) shouldn't be used to pay the owner's debt (that's a fact btw, he has admitted doing this so not going to go back through it).

I’m not speculating anything, I’d actually have no comment to make on the matter if people weren’t trying to force and agenda that the club is being financially pillaged.

Absolute bollocks if it’s for either of those, without warning as well. Especially the comment about Donald talking ****e a lot of the time, I feel he does!

Especially when there are question marks surrounding our finances, which are being mentioned by a lot of people.
