Obviously something is holding the deal up. I'd imagine some of what Nixon has posted may be partially true.

As far as DS goes, I think anyone in his position would try to get the best deal possible. I know I would, but I'd be cautious as to not ruin the deal completely.

What will be will be mate....out of fans hands.
Actually dont mind RTG,a bit more volatile aye,but a fair cross section i think, this 606 thing is ok,but comes across a bit like the snug in the rovers return, whereas RTG is more like the painted wagon at chucking out time

It was something like, and I'm paraphrasing here, "I took a temporary leave from Twitter, but since coming back the abuse continued, so all communication will now be through official channels.".

Well done those airheaded tweeters. You've managed to 'shut up' the most open chairman ever.

Sometimes I think we'll never be successful due to the whole negativity of our fanbase.

Whoever they appoint as our next management team, even if you're underwhelmed by it, get behind them, we're going to need it!

He tweeted a complete denial of the Suns article.
Then was subject to some pretty ****e abuse from so called fans.
Not defending him but don't blame him.
Should maybe ask who's feeding Nixon and how/why he's the only journo getting this so called factual info.

To be honest it is just another example (in my opinion) as to the bloke being out of his depth. All well and good when your the owner of some non league club but FFS runnin a club like sunderland and communicating via twitter is a joke.

That’s the problem with Donald. He’s on Twitter (or was) he’s in the pubs with the fans and some fans love that but what would be better for Sunderland right now is if he shut up and started acting a bit more professional instead of treating us like Eastleigh

I just don't get why so called fans would abuse our chairman who has taken the £40m challenge and has avoided us doing a Bury this year. I know we should be doing better but ffs give him time to sort us out.
