Why did they do the due diligence now and all the costs associated with it when the club can enter into as many transactions as they want between now and then?
How do YOU know that the club can do as they want between now and then ?
Maybe they can’t.

No they didn't. It being leaked to fanzines and then Donald saying it was better than 50/50 built up the expectations
Again as i asked over the road, leaked by who? We don't know so it's rumour and speculation which let's be honest most fanzines thrive on

Sorry like but they didn't just find out by chance. They were clearly tipped the wink by someone. Let's not forget the club done nothing to dampen the enthusiasm. If they'd released then what they did today we most likely wouldn't be in this position

Yep. First story in the Times was the 23rd of August and the fanzines did their stories the day BEFORE saying the takeover was a fortnight away. Then the bbc started saying it was days away and the fanzines started with the whole American flag ****e on Twitter and posting photos of Allardyce. Oh and then someone found that Robert Platek has followed Sunderland on Instagram.

This was all before any company was set up.

But no one knows, for all we know I could have sent them a message saying it was done

My guess is that they will have an input in our club, maybe not just right now.
Maybe, just maybe, they are pished off with the amount of publicity this has attracted and ha e decided to cool their jets and will come on board to far less of a fanfare.
Not all Yanks are big mouths.

He could have made the statement he made today at the very beginning. Instead he stoked the fire by telling fans to expect to hear more in 1-2 weeks.
Possibly...but the bloke came in promising to involve the fans because it's our club...and we all loved it! Perhaps he's naive in thinking that's possible, particularly at a club like sunderland, but you can't turn around now and criticise him for doing exactly what he said he would do! Maybe, from a business point of view, he'd be better keeping quiet in general, but, from a personal perspective, I've loved the podcasts and the openness and I'd be sad if it had to come to an end. I genuinely think the lad is doing his best though and wants the best for the club.

The facts are
Donald said in his podcast that he hoped to be giving out aome exciting news soon about investment (co-incidently just as it was coming to the end of the transfer window). He was then happy to have them on show at the ground for the wimbledon game. He was happy to let his right hand man share pictures on twitter from the cockpit of the helicopter, he was happy for the excitement levels to be whipped up when the companies house thing was set up. He has caused this ****storm, no one else, he could have nipped it at any point and he never. I have said from day one, a club like sunderland is way above his capability, eastleigh is about his limit. We will see with the management appointment what he is all about.

.....NDA's....

Nixon’s story came out on the 17th of August in the Sun saying that it was a group of Americans involved in the computer industry.

Then Roker Report and ALS both post simultaneously 5 days later details that it’s Fuhrman, Platek and the like involved. Even Nixon didn’t know that.

https://rokerreport.sbnation.com/20...rland-details-of-american-consortium-revealed

It wasn’t until the day after that The Times reported the same details.

Haway man you don't really believe that.

ALS and Roker Report published their stories at the exact same time as The Times ran the story. This clearly suggests they were all given information from the club on what they could say and at what time it could be published.

Could have been given the info from the yanks.

And how have you got a rocky post attributed to chunks???

**** 2 posts quoted me.

I answer to rocky, I have no idea who leaked it, the only one that does are the parties involved and we will probably never know so speculation that it was the owners is pointless

Wear Winger, the same applies. Someone has loose lips, we don't know it was the owners, we don't know if was the Americans
