He's not accusing anyone though is he Kemps, he simply stated that some people have chosen other clubs which is true, I know a few lads who have stopped going to City and now go to watch Hull fc, Im sure there's many more that have switched to the Rugby.

Adam Pearson and Neil Hudgell should be thanking the Allams.

For creating mediocre Rugby teams?

That’s what makes them individual. For me, at the moment, there isn’t. Doesn’t make me right or you wrong or tuther way round. It’s what’s right for the individual, but principles all the same.

Something may crop up again to make me attend a game (last one was the Villa game when there was applause for Geo’s lad, it was also my lads birthday. My principles were trumped by more important things that day, it happens). If my lad was younger I may still be going, I’ve encouraged others to do so when they’ve been trying to decide.

That’s it. I don’t want to miss out with my lad watching a match. Before I know it he’ll have left home and there would only have been one loser, it wouldn’t have been the Allams.

Yeah maybe I did take him wrong way. Apologies if so.

I also want to make it clear that Scarbs is a Hull City fan. He simply can't get to Hull when he wants to, so gets his football fix at Scarborough.

Absolutely, can't blame him for that and good luck to them.

I don't see how you can just switch to another club at the click of your fingers neither !
That is a bit of a silly thing to suggest
Where do you think all the "fans" came from with our rise up the leagues, l know countless tossers who jumped on the bandwagon with our rise up the leagues and are now sat with their cans watching Premier league on Sky in their armchair.

So that's where the new fans came from. During the first season in the Premier league l often spoke with a bloke about City, l thought as he was in his 50s he was a life long fan... No he was a Liverpool fan who ran a mini bus every other week, when l see him now l won't mention City or try not to talk football, l've got no time for people like that.

I simply don't talk football to people from Hull that support other teams .
I only talk football at work to the Spurs fan .

By the way the Spurs fan was from London born 2 miles from the ground .So that's fair Dinkum!
I share your same frustrations !

Whilst were on about RL and Neil Hugnell I was wondering why no-one has kicked up a fuss about HKR wanting to buy their ground off Hull City Council ? Hudgell has given all the reasons for wanting to do so that the Allams gave when the ownership of the KC was discussed. I know everyone has their own take on that one but the principle and ideas are the same. Only this time HCC are showing no opposition at all to the sale an are actually encouraging it as a good move for East Hull.
So isn't Craven Park an asset to the council as they claim the KC is ?
Personally, costs and the means of purchasing aside, I don't see the difference.
Brady said any sale of the KC would have to go to a public referendum, so why isn't the sale of the council owned Craven Park under the same restriction ?
Asking for a friend.

The main difference is that Hudgell's actually offering some money to buy this one.

I doubt that

I've no idea what the deal is, but they're stressing that it's at its market value - 'Rovers have agreed a fee for the purchase of the stadium from the council, with Hudgell stressing the purchase price offered is one levied at a proper commercial value, with subsidies not requested in the sale'.

I doubt it's a fortune, it's a ****-hole and they part own it already.

The address says it all really... Poorhouse Lane!

Mines 20 and I’d be gutted if he went with mates and not me!!
We’ll be going until I peg it, hopefully that’s a good thirty years yet! But you never know and that’s why I’ll always go with him

Same here, he's been going since we moved to the KC and went to the last open day at BP.

Brother in law still comes with us as well and that is the only time we meet as he lives away.

And the council are willing to sell where as any mention of selling the KC HAD to go to a public referendum ?
Wasn't Hudgell offering to give the keys to Craven Park to anyone who had the balls to take it on only two weeks ago, claiming he couldn't afford to keep bailing them out himself ?
Now he's wanting to buy the ground and land around it.

Same here my daughter 's also 20, started taking her when she was about 8 years old, we go to all games together and she comes home for every home game from university. Love it when she comes home (apart from the house been more messy) but it's great going together Hopefully like you say we will go together for many years to come.
