To see if it's received you need to put *0# at the beginning of the text, then a space and then your message.

Chances are it was a 99p PAYG SIM with a top up hoyed temporarily into a phone. One way to possibly find some info would be to get the IMEI info from the phone the text was sent from (only the network provider can see this info) and then see if that IMEI is associated with another number that has an account attached to it etc etc but that could be on any other phone network also.

So basically nothing to see here :emoticon-0105-wink:

Feel free to do anything you like mate.

If any cost is involved just bill me.

I'm loaded now that premium line scam is kicking in <laugh>

He's sending me abusive pm's mate, I don't need that.

I didn't come on for an argument as he keeps claiming.

I posted a text I'd received and defended myself once attacked.

If you see that as unreasonable then I'll live with it tbh.

The pm's I sent are abusive? Wow. More than happy to forward them to anyone for them to make their own mind up

If you ring it, says you have dialled an incorrect number.

There are many web sites that let you send a text msg from a web page. Also when you get a text msg from your bank, shop reservation etc that has a mobile number behind it even tho it says Argos or whatever. I doubt there will ever be any replies to Smug etc
