Bloody hell, i just relied to a post and mentioned that it was on gumtree and that friggin post has been deleted as well.
Looks like RTG here at the minute. I had to scroll a fair way back to find a post that mentioned the takeover without some allegations or snide remarks. Come on people we are better than this!!! Could be a good day!!!
What I'm now really looking forward to is when the user of that number is identified and is revealed to the world as the low life scumbag that he/she is.
My best guess is that it's an RTG forum member but, given there are too many suspects to choose from, I will await the evidence.
Hopefully (but I won't bank on it) whoever it was will be far too embarrassed to ever post their bile again.
Far more likely, imho, is that the scumbag will just register a new user name UNLESS someone is brave enough to risk a ban by posting his/her real one.
When I submitted the ad it said it would be moderated by Gumtree before going live. I had snapshotted it to post the image here when I saw that warning as didn't expect it to go live. I guess they had a sense of humour, or basically they don't moderate ads as it went live to my amusement

It will have been an anonymous online text message service that was used to send it. I don't think anyone is sad enough to actually go to the trouble of using a PAYG SIM though some are sad enough to place a Gumtree ad
