To be honest my mind is scrambled with this rollercoaster of rumour, hearsay and confusion.

Lets just hope we get the right manager in and results improve. New investment would be good but it's the new manager who we rely on the most to get us out of this league.
As proven by Jones, bowyer and stendel last season and wilder with sheffield a couple of seasons ago.
All 3 made do with players they inherited.
That's the problem with the ross apologists.
Poor jack look what he inherited.
He inherited at least 8 players good enough for the pub league and maybe for the c'ship.
He brought in over a dozen more.
He doesnt and never did have a clue.
We are well rid

Managed the sum total of **** all at work yesterday, really need to work on my self discipline
I’d just wait for word from the club now. There’s so much in the public domain that official word can’t be far away.

Very harsh. Imo.

It's very suspicious to me like. He's in negotiations to sell the club (negotiating with at least one party). He's at a delicate stage of these negotiations. He doesn't yet know who will be running the club in the short term. He'll have some clarity by Friday. But instead of waiting a couple of days until he knows what the **** is happening he randomly goes out now and sacks the manager, and this just happens to coincide almost perfectly with the first major leak of the process (the Sun saying the takeover is off). Why wouldn't Donald wait? It's not as if he'll have much time to be thinking about new managers while he's still negotiating, and the decision might not be his when the negotiations finish!

The only logical thing I can draw from it is that one of the parties wanted Ross gone. Maybe Donald was keen to see him stay. The party threaten to walk, they leak info that they're done. Nixon prints it, genuinely believing it's accurate and they've walked away. Donald realises the backlash he'll get, Ross is quickly dismissed and one of the major issues is addressed (probably with more still to discuss)

How I've stayed in a job consistently surprises me. Go into work with a smile (maybe too far) and within an hour I'm as sullen and depressed as normal. Mg colleagues love me.

Well I’m off until 22nd Oct after today so they can announce it anytime for me now. Mind I was saying that when I was off first 2 weeks in September too :emoticon-0126-nerd:

Also a little thing I picked up on with the club statement was that the hlhunt fir acne manager will commence tomorrow....nearly always it says will commence immediately.
Also ross had an interview which is on safc.com only this morning so something has suddenly happened

I dont think too much can be read into that- the media team wouldnt be briefed about a sacking until just before it had happened. The term tomorrow could just be what Donald has said, as he's busy until then.
